    Bud light lime
Miller Chill (it amazes me that Miller had the good sense to retire Miller Swill, but bud light lime is still going strong for some reason).
Bud Select 55 (I assume Ab-Inbev still makes it, even though I haven't seen it in years)
Natural Light (easily the worst beer I've ever tried)

Not sure about that, besides Sculpin Habanero and Victory at Sea I'm not much a fan of Ballast Point

1 Rogue Voodoo Bacon Doughnut Abomination. Old pancakes smothered in Aunt Jemima over burning tires
2 Bud select. Water that has been cursed by an evil mold
3 Swill (10 Barrels) Diabetes in a bottle sickening aftertaste that hangs around for days
5 Boatswain Double IPA Twin Screwed Steamer. Like chugging a stale Colt 45 through a sink strainer from a restaurant that specializes in fermented cabbage

Are you also willing to take the diabetes off his hands? :stuck_out_tongue:

Damn...you just took me straight back to 1995 when I tried that beer. That was the year I started brewing my own and had really been getting into craft beer for the 2-3 years prior. I remember trying Dixie White Moose and wondering if it was really that bad or if something was horribly wrong with my palate and I just couldn't appreciate it. I even remember that I bought it at Lukas Liquor near Kansas City.

I did a side-by-side (in June '16?) with Miller64 & ST Where the Helles Summer(138cal/12oz), watered down to ~64cal12 oz. The STWtHiS was still better .:sunglasses:

Forgot about that one. Don't remember much, other that it wasn't good.

Among the ones I had for last summer's WBAYDN? AAL tasting, I actually liked the Red Stripe I had. It was from the brewery in Jamaica. (I've seen comments that the ones from Milwaukee & Latrobe are different.) I never liked AALs. Just couldn't stand the corn smell. So.....given that experience, I can't quite rule them out completely.

    Post-enlightenment:

    Boston Beer Company Cranberry Lambic
    Ballast Point Indra Kunindra
Shipyard Mint Chocolate Stout (Pugsley's Signature Series - apparently Pugsley Addams and brewed by Uncle Fester in the bathtub)
O'so Doe in Heat/Buck in Rut

    Pre-enlightenment:

    Red Dog
    OE800
Schlitz (always gave me a headache, but Dad loved it)

Diageo sold Red Stripe (Desnos & Geddes or whatever the heck it's called) to Heineken, which moved the brewing for the US market back to its home brewery in Jamaica - so there should be no more "brewed under license" Red Stripe on the shelves.

To be honest, when I saw the thread title, I thought this thread wouldn't be a good read, but I was initially wrong. The beers mentioned are just as tempting for me to try as any "best beers" thread... and not in a masochistic way. Sam Adams Triple Bock is one of those beers that I always wish I had tried. I would get more excited having that than many highly desired beers. For me, Miller 64 is a fascinating beer. A go-to to stock the fridge with? Absolutely not. But the first time I had one it was eye-opening. Makes me think of some quote I barely remember where someone was saying that people should learn to really watch "bad" movies, because they are in some ways more revealing than respected ones.

Me too. Or at least the malt liquor did (the bull).

No other beer I can think of gives me that reaction. I always associate drinking the bull with getting a HA. Weird.

Yeah Red Stripe in states sucks but had a can once that was brought back from my parents Jamaican trip and yeah that was quite refreshing.

Was it like a blend of artificial vanilla, confectioners sugar and bile? If so, it wasn't you .

Every bad movie is bad in its own special way.

These won't be familiar to kids. That segment seems fully represented here. Note: I left off "The Green Death" aka Genny cream ale. Not because its not a bad beer, its just that its an average bad beer. Not, in my opinion, a really outstandingly "Mount Rushmore" bad beer. As I was compiling this list a thought nagged and grew in the back of my mind. These 'beer' in their way are the progenitors of the modern(>1990) beer revolution. Without this level of rotten beer we may never have revolted. So hoist a ommegang or bells or st. georges and give a little nod of thanks to these "Revolting Beers" for getting us to beer nirvana. Cheers!

You know, thinking about it you may be right. I typed Cherry Wheat but in my mind was Cranberry Lambic.

I picked up a bottle {$4.95) when it was 1st released was able to finish it but did not enjoy it at all. Never paid for it again but tasted it for free from time to time. Disliked it more each time.
