Forbidden Root (2018)

Stopped by last night and had the burger and a Radio Swan. It was divine.

 

Roots had my 3 year old with the ability to add hotdog to his Mac n cheese. . Thanks for all the suggestions!

 

It was yesterday afternoon.

 

Radio Swan tasting awesome......also I know its not beer related but Stellar Grilled Cheese and Onion Soup.

Brand new Strawberry Basil Hefe is in tanks- Sparkling Rose is going too!

Night Moth, Ghost Tropic, Toro will all be brewed by the end of Jan as well!

Stopped in today to trade out a hoody my wife got me for Xmas that was too small and grabbed a growler of snoochie boochies and I’m loving it. Wish I lived closer!! Also could the people working there be any freaking nicer??? Awesome folks.

 

Also thanks for the Roots Pizza recommendations! Place was great and man what a solid tap list!

Was in last night. I got lit off of half the menu. To my delight there was Night Moth. I also had the root beer ale and that was prob. the one that I enjoyed the most unexpectedly. Shamm's was lovely. A good "watching sports" beer. I didn't really care for the Marz NEIPA. That is all

 

How the heck did we fall off the front page guys...very disappointed in everyone. What do you all have lives or something?

 

Was at Forbidden Root last night and I can't get over how good that new version of Radio Swan is. It's incredible. Somehow between me and another person we drank 10 of them and I feel great today. So it's also hangover proof.

 

Hear that guys @KrajDoesBeer And his staff have made a hangoverless beer. You guys oughta market that.

 

That's all nice and good, but I'd gladly endure a hangover for some TORO! cans!

 

Brings up an interesting question... if someone made a non-alcoholic NEIPA that tasted great and was appropriately priced in 16oz cans, would you drink a lot of it?

Edit: I’m still laughing at the idea of an Odoul’s NEIPA

I wouldn't.

I would however drink a lot of a session NE IPA if it would have the full body and hoppiness of regular NE IPA.

 

I would drink it. After a couple regular beers have a non-alcoholic NE IPA. I actually enjoy corridors lower ABV NE IPAs (5%) more than the 7%ers.
