Should be good. I want to get to a time when the regular stouts are on tap at all times and the barrel aged stuff is releasing every couple months.

If you mean Henna or Karma I wouldn't get expectations too high. Would be nice though.

FWIW, one of the bartenders recently mentioned the thought was to do tickets for the next stout release. Believe that meant somewhat soon - before "Spring" mentioned for the one above.

I really hope so. Otherwise I don't know if I should go lineup for this or at Mikerphone for BA ISLBS.

Kind of leaning the latter so I can just stay for BA Vanillanoize.

I hope to everything this is an on-line ticket event like Chaos Day was. Maybe hold some tickets to sell randomly in taproom so that locals/regulars can get their hands on some, but if this is like the previous two Henna releases I want no part of having to line up the night before to get a bottle.

It’ll be ticketed. Bartender told me on Sunday.

Shaun’s adjunct stouts have been better than his barrel-aged beers in my opinion. He built his customer base with pastry stouts so I also tend to doubt they’ll ever be regularly available

Does this mean presale online or handing out tickets in line for better crowd control/line management?

Saw so many people complain about ticketed release for Clare's initially but saw nothing after the fact. Just don't get why people hate on tickets if you allow 1 ticket per name and must show ID at pick up

You didnt need to line up over night. Showed up an hour before opening and was fine. Had a few beers in line. Right into the tap room for lunch. Only fools line up 2+ hours in advance.

I think this will get less likely (being able to just show up close to open) if more high-demand stouts get released in ways that first two Henna releases were. From Henna b1 release to Henna b2, the shitshow grew exponentially.

There is zero downside to doing a ticketed release vs line up.... unless the brewery loves the hype that a shitshow brings.

Not disagreeing with you but because of the winter weather. I prefer a line up when it's acceptable outside. The bottle share is part of the fun. To address a previous poster, the benefit to lining up more than 2 hours early is double the bottle allotment. Ticketing creates a wider net of willing participants which makes it harder to get for most of us. In any case, until March comes I agree that ticketing is the way to go.

I think ticketing will be the only way going forward. I've heard that the town received an endless amount of complaints. Have to keep the neighbors/town happy and I don't see how that happens with allowing bottle shares.

More could have a stout on on tap regularly if they choose. Instead, they prefer to sell a huge amount of bottled beer in one day.

This reminds of Side Project when everything was so hyped they couldn't keep their own beers on. And now, they're stocked to the gills, which is great.

Not really a valid comparison because Side Project built a new facility. They also do very few stouts, most other styles don't sell as fast.

Any time they have put a stout on tap, it's kicked in 2 days or less, even with 5 oz pours. Now if they don't bottle anything out of one of their bigger batches, it would last longer, probably a couple of weeks (estimate based on nothing). However, then the neckbeards move on to the new trade whalez.

The point is until they drastically increase production, it's going to be a similar balancing act.

More's gonna need a new facility.

New IPA today with Galaxy and Citra. Recall the original Juicy at RAM had Galaxy in it while Loose Candies subbed in Vic Secret. Would love to see him try to re-create Juicy if they can get galaxy once in awhile
