    Us too!

Friday night. Our head brewer has been to every one except the first growler fill....He was only 20 at that time or he would have been there too!

Pretty sure we will bring some swag but we only have one workshirt in inventory and it is a small....

Dibs! On the swag, that is, not the shirt. Unless you want a Tommy Boy impression...

I'm making it a mission to try these TG brews, I haven't had the opportunity yet.

Well this saves me the drive down from Rochester to get a couple growlers to bring up to DD. Also looking forward to trying these out.

Bring it for sender. He may be the only one who will fit in it...

Will be my first Darkness Day. Look for the guy with the beard, I will be pouring out Millennium Gueuze, Jean Chris Nomad, and Sonoran 200.

I'll be the guy with a beard looking for a pour of Millennium Gueuze and Jean Chris Nomad.

To the outsider, DD will look like a convention of white, bearded, beer drinkers in their 30s (horn rim glasses optional). Name tags will go a long way, as "the guy with the beard" means nothing.

    Sincerely,
    Jason (fits description above)

Nice, I am slightly overweight, so that should narrow things down.

A bunch of jolly white guys with beards... It's either a beer release or a Santa Claus convention.

Sorry to get off topic but I am a Darkness Day newb. Do I have a realistic chance at acquiring my 4 bottle allotment if I show up Saturday around noon or so?

Now I'm pretty happy I stayed sober enough at stout fest to remember what you look like.

Are your referring to the general sale at 4:30pm? If so, then you shouldn't have a problem. Just watch for the line to start forming around 3:30 or so... It may be earlier this year.

Thanks! Unable to partake in the overnight festivities. Definitely looking forward to arriving early Saturday for the Surly Smorgasbord.

Neither my beard or my hair are grey enough. Sadly I am fat enough. Pretty sure a night of drinking followed by more drinking and then bringing home 6 bottles of delicious Darkness isn't gonna help that. But I am a jolly ************ so I've got that going for me.

Others are bringing name tags, and I'll have some buttons that are just the small BA logo (no names) if anyone would like one of those.

Is anyone bringing any Steel Toe growlers/bombers? Love me some Size 7! Sorry but I didn't feel like reading through the spreadsheet.

I am planning going to my first darkness days and I am wondering when is a good time Saturday morning to show up? Also if I show up at 12-1pm will I still be able to taste my first darkness and or get a wrist band?

You will definitely not be able to get a wristband that late in the day. That said, there are generally extra bottles sold late afternoon - I believe at either 4:30 or 5:00pm. If you want a wristband, you'll need to get there in the wee hours of the morning. I believe last year, the last people to get wristbands arrived around 7am, and it's likely to be earlier this year. Get there by 4am, and I imagine you'll get a wristband.

Darkness will be on tap, as well. The event is 11am - 6pm, and I imagine it will be available for most/all of the event...
