OMG HF is killing it right now. I need to move to Vermont already--coming from someone who hates Winter and can't wait for Summer as soon as Halloween is over.

Not sure how I feel about the new can design. Had some Jai Alai from December with the original artwork. My first reaction is they should have left things alone. Design is not Cigar City's strong suit.

Brewer's Art, this can't possibly be your best attempt at a new can design for this beer... Yikes.

I see a turntable behind that beer. Don't forget to show it off on the 24th of February!

I agree. I had to take a double take the first few times I saw it, but it's pretty decent. I may pick up a bottle or two to sit in the cellar for a bit and see how they mellow.

Bur Oak's Stout Heart is the first beer from them that really made me stop and think. Great stout, and promising if they continue to move this direction. Can't say I'll pick more Stout Heart up, but I'll consider their next release after this beer.

This beer got me addicted to IPAs and later craft IPAs and double IPAs. First had it in a bar in Beaufort, SC. about seven years ago. Asked the bartender what is an IPA. He looked at me in disbelief and said I would like it. Yup. He was right.

#3 - Finally dipped into the American Elder stash after seeing a few roll by earlier this week from @TheIPAHunter - delicious, smooth balanced. A great collab between Half Acre and Tired Hands. 7.7% so on the high side for a 'standard' IPA. Not sure I like it more than the Fluorescent IPA, but still so well made.
Also made biscuits, with mushroom gravy, a poached egg, and cripsy bacon and some tomatoes on the side. Because Monday. And a theme song to boot...

Same here. It entertains me. And it's more real than just about any reality show.

It's so interesting to see the difference in hue between two breweries.
