Having Gimme Da Loot! now, one of the more dank NE-style recipes I've had to date, and another solid effort from Revision for my palate and preferences.

 

I love what Jeremy is doing up north. He's taking the best of both styles and has created world class beers. I have loved everything I have had so far which is Lord Lupulin and Smoke and Mirrors. Looking forward to more of his beers.

Yep, wish West Sacramento wouldn't have F'd up when he was looking to set up shop. Would love to have Revision HQ within a 20 min drive. But 2.5 hours works just fine too, and I'm sure his tax situation is much better.

Lord Lupulin was super good...better than I expected. Looking forward to seeing Gimme Da Loot in the East Bay soon.

 

Had Gimme Da Loot! out of a week-old can the other day and loved it. Dank and really bitter, which is probably why I liked it so much. Almost couldn't believe that the can said it was 30 ibus. Definitely pick it up if you get a chance.

 

Has Planetary Fog rolled into the OC area?

 

Nothing in the HB/LB area. Planet Lovetron was the first one that I saw show up in the OC area. And that was at Mr K's 2+ weeks ago. LL & Smoke last week (you told me about at TWLB). I'm looking for Fog and/or Reno as FUCK! I really doubt FUCK will show up in the OC or LA area. Heard that one comes and goes quick at the brewery.

 

Yeah, that sucked. They had a building and everything in West Sac, then screwed at the last minute. My office downtown was only a few minutes away. Could have done lunch and after work pickups. Damn.

This is just a total guess....... But if they ever do expand, first spot would probably be a small tap room in Sacramento since that is his biggest customer base.

 

It only just hit Sacramento bottle shops and a few Total Wines on Tues/Wednesday.



Maybe the weekend for Socal?

You might see "Gimmie Da Loot" IPA as well. But no way RENO AS FUCK makes it down to Socal. It barely made it to Sac last run. Very limited.
