OK. Just printed out the BA top 100 list. You dont have to share every bottle with me (though you should!), but I wanna see the empties of as many top 100 as possible this weekend at D-Day. Ill report back with how many/which of the top 100 were ultimately at the event by my count. I'll have a couple in tow myself

Is the Sonoran a chaser or will you fill the empty Millennium with it?

The "top 100" beers I have never had before that I want to tick this weekend:
    -BB4D
    -ephraim (likely going to happen)
-speedway stout (likely going to happen)
-3F vintage oude gueze and golden blend
    -masala mama ipa
-three hour tour (likely going to happen)
-Various Alpine things outside expo hop and nelson
    -Kopi Speedway?

What are your "top 100 beers to tick" this weekend?

I actually want to try Sonoran 200 (or 100), and then send Chadquest a picture of the rare "barleywine" I drank.

I see BA now lists it as a Strong Ale, but I could swear it was listed as a barleywine at one time.

Anyone else from your neck of the woods heading up?

Popular, since it's beers produced within last 365 days, thus easier to tick more in one day!

Any chance Bad Boy / Hoppy Birthday are in those growlers?

Bad Boy was one of the best beers I have ever had (thanks to Alewatcher), and Hoppy Birthday at the Pre DLD tasting a couple years back was terrible (but the growler that Jeff got was one of the only groups of bad reviews for that beer).

Bringing a Half Acre Vallejo myself, and I believe Dvelcich picked up some fresh Chicagoland growlers tonight to share as well.

Im going tomorrow to pick up some Chicagoland growlers and Vellajo was on my list. Shall I get one as well or maybe shoot for something different? Im def picking up a growler of Mathias but not sure what else yet. Im gonna check around tomorrow at Piece, Rev, HA and Haymarket to see whats on tap. Any requests? Would like to try and get a variety of different brews. We will be there around 6ish on Friday night so I should be close to most of you.

I've never been to Darkness Day before, but if its like I expect, there will be way too many of us to try even a majority of the beers folks are bringing out. So multiple growlers of beers will still be consumed as folks will be mingling around trying new things all evening / morning.

Having said that, Half Acre had a few great new beers on when I was in, and a growler of Space / Lagertown wouldn't be turned away. :grinning:

    Cheers!
