If you plan on lining up early for Baba Yaga and you don't at least have a taster in your pocket, you're doing it wrong. Just saying.

What's a good time to plan on lining up? I think last year I got there about an hour to an hour and a half early and it moved pretty quickly and I think everyone was able to get their bottles.

Do you know the bottle count this year?

I don't know enough about the bottle count to say anything definitive, but I'd say the chances of getting a full set won't survive to Sunday.

That's a good enough time to arrive. Hope the rain isn't awful.

We are leaving for Ethereal now from Somerset. Should be there in about an hour and 45 minutes. I will have a few beers to share as well.

Last year I was able to get in and out and hour after it opened. Haha I think I’m doing it badly, still have a coffee and a regular to drink! I don’t know when I will have the time.

    Didn't run into you.

BTW, there are still full sets of Baba available, but not many.

Hope everyone gets their fill of baba! One of the best beers Kentucky makes.

I'm hearing that 2 variants, if not all variants of Baba are sold out already. (I've already gone home).

We talked with one of the brewers at Ethereal yesterday and he said there was only 1400 bottles between the 4 varieties. I am shocked if any lasted till Sunday morning.

All Baba bottles sold out in under 5 hours. Only Coffee Yaga is still available on tap. Event was huge, and smooth. The pregame was epic.

Friend of mine was in Lexington and picked up the OG and the Sea Salt Chocolate, looking forward to trying them.

Sea Salt was my favorite of the 4.

His too. He tried them all, told him I'd split whatever he bought, so he bought 2.

I think I enjoyed the mayan chocolate the most. Sea salt was third behind coffee and mayan.

Anyone else snag any of the Bearded Iris homestyle or offbeat in Louisville?Have the prices gone up or are stores marking them up since they know they are so popular? (I think I paid 16-17 bucks for each 4-pack...not complaining because they are great beers and still not badly priced, but I want to say I paid about 3 bucks less last time I picked up Homestyle)

Offbeat was 15.99, but Homestyle was the same price as before in Lexington.

Still will beat the drum that homestyle is an average beer at best. Haven’t had offbeat, but some of bearded iris stuff is really good!

I bought an Offbeat single for what I later figured out was $4 (I bought other stuff) and while I'd like to support a small brewery on balance I can't really say it was any more enjoyable than SN Hazy Little Thing.

Country Boy has 2 sours in bottles for sale, Strawberry Ginger and Rose Wild. Lots of strawberry in the first, very subtle Flanders-ish notes on the Rose.

They also debuted the Blackberry Plum Wild, and when that hits bottles (soon) y'all need to be on it. Imagine blending Mure and Quetsche.

For sure not the best from bearded iris. Gotta make sure you let their stuff warm up a little though
