Toppling Goliath in Chicago (2018)

Grabbed a pack of the sue cans from binnys and none of the weird inconsistencies on the prior page. Pure juicy citra.

 

So this happened today. Quickly check my email over lunch during a frantic day at work. Immediately see an email with "Assassins" in the subject. Brief moment of excitement, then realize it's an email about a local theatre production. Hard pass.

 

Although that head looks like dish soap.

 

The 4 pack i just picked up at Mariano's on Chicago/Damen nothing like this pic. It still has that look and taste like Florida Sue. But Fire Skulls and $ is f-ing great. FYI garifelds in wicker park still has a good amount of FS$ and Mosaic hopped Sue

 

Finally saw a 4 pack of Sue with date on box (1/18). I think I'm done for awhile until I see from other reviews that it has improved significantly. Was bland and not even worth the $9 at Mariano's. My first 4 pack when it hit Chicago a few months ago was so good that I thought it would be my new go-to. Not sure what has happened.

I was hoping I could swing it. I also wasn't paying attention to the non-transferable portion.

 

Yeah, I grabbed a 1/12 4-pack, same deal on the box.

 

I thought Fire, Skulls, and Money is insane but I think it's a bit too green right now in my opinion. If you have a bottle and haven't cracked it I would maybe consider to wait a week or so before opening it. My first glass was incredible, and my second glass was irritating/burning my tongue/throat.

 

Shoot, for some reason I thought this was canned now and was going to go get some. Maybe confused it with pompeii.

 

The PS i got was dated 1/16 on the box was the more Florida version. If anyone finds a batch that's hazy and good please post the package date.

 

The store nearby had some Galaxy dry hopped PS but no date on the bottles. Was this released recently?

 

A TG bottle with the date rubbed off by the store proprietorno date means run away, like run away really fast. Galaxy Sue looks to have been from some time ago.

 

If your driver's license has a picture of a middle-aged man with glasses and a salt and pepper fu manchu mustache let me know cuz I could be your body double at the release. Lol

 

Its from October. Grocery store by me has 3 cases. Full cases. Remember how excited we all were about Iowa TG? Remember how we were going to buy it all up. LOL

 

We still have October Galaxy Sue too. It just showed up 2+ months old and I keep passing.

But we've also had 3-4 day old Psuedo Sue, Mosaic Sue, King Sue (maybe a week+ old), MoZee, and FS&$ - which is in the fridge for tomorrow night. And I'll keep on taking that action.

 

The 1/12 batch is ok. Totally decent for the price, but not worth getting bent out of shape over.
