The Mozee is still drinking pretty good.

I did do a double-take with the Pompeii sitting right next to it when I bought the Mozee. My bat senses told me that it had been around a while.

Snagged a bottle of Fire, Skulls and Money from Skoke Binny's with a bottling date of 1/29. Superb! Freshest TG beer Ive had; hazy, juicy, really tasty.

fire skulls money is ridiculously good. smell and taste are on-point, i'm loving it. probably one of the most orange/pineapple juice looking beers ive ever had.

Just picked up ghost rider @ the club (street name for fire skulls money) because of your reviews. Excited to try it! Was excited for MoZee, but passed on that for Mongo Wongo instead. Support local-er?

picked up a boxed Pseudo Sue from Mariano's which seemed to have no date (couldn't find one at all), and there is zero haze and it's basically the same as the Florida Sue I had previously (ie very similar to zombie dust). I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a nice pale ale, but that thick hazy hop bomb is the one that I want as a regular go to.

Showing Iowa some love since they don’t have a professional football team. On deck:

    1st half - MoZee
    2nd half - FS$

Also drank a FS$ during the game tonight. Really great IPA. Even the wife dug it. Might have to go grab another this week.

Wonders what the new display image for @FBarber will be? Congrats man! If this were my Bears, I'd be well past the capability to leave messages on a beer forum and hopefully would have called in sick due to acute brown bottle fever for tomorrow.

Yeah, I had one of the 1/12 cans last night, and while it was good, it wasn't good enough that I'm ready to add it to my "regular" rotation.

Pass out the batteries, man. As far as I'm concerned we're all Eagles fans today.

i don't think you'll see hazy sue ever again. They don't want it like that, made a post on social media last month talking about how hazy the first batch was and how they were working to dial it back without fining or centerfuge

I liked your post for the info, not because I'm stoked on the outcome. Thanks for letting me know. They really are two different beers in my opinion, not just difference in appearance. The hopes of this being a awesome hazy permanently stocked in my fridge that I buy from Mariano's for 9.99 are over.

I guess we gotta hope for more consistent DDH Sue and King Sue drops!

I'm drinking a non-hazy can from the can and it is delicious. Give me all the Pseudo Sue.

Was the original Sue that was brewed in Decorah ever hazy? You know, the one that everyone wanted instead of FL Sue? If not, it makes sense why they don’t want it to be hazy now. I hear some people saying these recent cans are like FL Sue...is that really true or are people just fiending for the haze?

I’m just wondering about these questions, as I really don’t know. I only had “Old” Decorah Sue once a few years back and it’s been awhile since I’ve had FL sue.

the iowa stuff is miles ahead of the florida stuff. way softer feeling beer and much more mango character now, even without the haze. Its night and day.

You know, I also have no idea. I've only bought and drank what has been available here in the past year, and it's gone from one expectation to another expectation to another expectation.
Which I think is maybe a horrible way to present a product?
If I think about it, I have actually no idea what Pseudo Sue ACTUALLY is supposed to taste like. Zero clue.

My recollection is that the old Decorah Sue was unfiltered and hazy but not close to the level of NE-style haze in the December batch. I think a Google image search gives a pretty good idea of what the original Sue looked like.
