I'm flying solo this time. I think I'm going to get there around 4-5pm, it depends on when I wake up.
Technically the cupcakes are made with regular breakfast stout and there is a maple and bourbon caramel and a maple/chocolate/coffee frosting. I have FBS ice cream that goes with them, but it would melt before it gets there.

Have I mentioned how devastatingly handsome I find you to be? I don't think we have met but just the descriptions of those cupcakes makes me want to hug you (mostly to distract you so my accomplice can steal the whole plate of them).

Anyone have a suggestion for where to go Sunday morning for some good breakfast? Last year we went to Cafe Twenty Eight which is now closed, unfortunately, because it was a really excellent stop. Did Todd Haug end up opening up another place?

Als in dinky town. Dive place but really good hangover food. No beer though

Right on that block where Cafe 28 was is Tilia, which has great breakfast, and quite a good tap selection. Haute Dish is another great choice, and it is quite common to see Todd at the bar there.

Go to fat nats. The best breakfast in the cities and that's not my opinion, it's a fact. El jefe with American fries, a pancake, and hot sauce. 3540 winnetka ave north in new hope or there is one somewhere in Brooklyn park

If you are heading home that morning, an option is Dicks Last Resort in Hudson. Just across te bridge to Wisconsin. Could then hit Casanova's.

Just made chorizo and potato mix for breakfast burritos. If I bring that bag, tortillas and a pan to heat it up, can I use someone's stove versus dragging mine up? Obviously first burritos are yours.

Just got the notice from the wife, I have about 3 dozen pumpkin chocolate chip cookies I will be bringing, a few will be for me and my buddies, but the rest will be happily shared. Bonus if you bring me one of those magical cupcakes.

Lobo I hope to be set up right next to you guys, you mind if we bring stuff to grill? My truck is pretty much packed and I can't fit my grill.

Also, a stove? Wow. I thought my space heater was impressive

Sounds like someone doesn't know what a fact is.

For starters, the "Smoked Soft-Boiled Eggs" at Tilia are the best Biscuits & Gravy in the Twin cities. I wouldn't put the B&G at Fat Nat's in the top 5. And Fat Nat's does not do Hollandaise sauce correctly. Plus, they don't have a tap list.

I stand by Tilia and Haute Dish. Even Hell's Kitchen would be a better choice than Nat's.
