You do know they do a lot of mid month releases, right?

Indeed! More is on the way later this month!

Thanks for the info. I'm going to have to try it for myself before ordering another bottle.

I was reading the descriptions of the Chocolate Salty BBLs and OTWB and I have to say, the "flow-y" words used to describe the beers make it sound like they use fake flavorings. "Swirls of cinnamon,... and drizzles of sweet maple flavor." Maple flavor? Why not just say maple syrup? And on Choco BBLs: "bourbon barrel-aged party-pleaser, balancing sweet and savory flavors inspired by vanilla beans, cacao nibs..." Flavors INSPIRED by? Barrel aged PARTY PLEASER? Again, why not just say WITH vanilla beans, cacao nibs and so on. I know the descriptions on the bottles are more straight forward, and that makes me feel better. I'm just not sure if I'm the nit-picky one on this or if others picked up on the odd language. I want to buy several OTWB, but if its going to taste even remotely like Mash and French Toast (which was nothing but additive flavor to me) I'm going to have to pass.

Mash and French Toast was so good so I hope it's like that.

So a range of response to OTWB, from Max! to Bleh. Should be able to get out by the 18th to decide. Hoping it’s as good as Mash and FT. Any Girl Grey notes?

Nice to see all the new beers on tap at the OG tasting room today instead of waiting an extra week or two. And My First Desk Pop is great. Happy to see these beers through the Randell.

I typically buy based more on what's in the beer than how the marketing department words the press releases or whatever, but seeing as how it clearly states "natural flavors added" on the label for OTWB I'm not sure how much more transparent the Bruery can be here. Then again, this is coming from someone who - for a while - actively ignored all Modern Times releases because I hate the tone of voice they've chosen to use in their emails/on their bottles.

So you know where I'm coming from. I just like the more straight forward approach I guess. And as I said, the beer labels themselves are direct and to the point. The GF is sensitive to artificial additives so I figure I'd just make sure before hitting ok on my bottle purchases lol.

...I also work in marketing so I'm super-sensitive about it.

I visited both tasting rooms on Monday and My First Desk Pop was easily my favorite beer of the day.

Just got another update from the Flok app (seems I get one about once a week or so) saying "we haven't seen you in awhile". No shit, I live in San Francisco. Not sure if that's driven by Flok or if The Bruery chooses to send those out, but they're mildly annoying.

Open the app, goto settings, make sure that Push Notifications are off, click on Manage Location, make sure background location is also off. You should receive nothing after that.

Tickets to the Wild and hoppy beer festival are up for sale. And each ticket comes with one included bottle. Sour blonde aged in Oak with Plums

But its only beers from offshoot and vintage terreux. Knowing the history of those beers, its got me worried about spending $50 on tasters unless i see a list

At the Terreux tasting room and the new bruesicle KICAPI is absolutely delicious. OG is pretty good too.

A little disappointed with Brunch, I'm happy with my one bottle but the cinnamon is a bit much for my liking. Less cinnamon or none at all and this would have been a home run.

The pilsner they just put on tap is great, I swear they nail almost every lager they put out.
