I'd like to third this. I am going to be out of town 14-19 so if you could not release it then [IMG]

Night moth and the variants are all solid.

But Lord almighty, this batch of radio swan is ridiculous. This not being canned was definitely a blessing in disguise for my wallet

The Night Moth variant (Juice Box?), forgot the actual name, but damn that was so good! I stopped in at 3:30 yesterday not knowing of the variants and was super impressed. Later on, after telling my wife about how good it was, we decided to go back 4 hours later where we found that all of the variants kicked. Very impressed with what FR is doing. The BA stout was on point as well! I love living 6 blocks away from this place!

Popped into Forbidden Root yesterday, and the new version of Night Moth is incredible. The current version of Radio Swan is also still blowing my mind every time I have it. Great how every version of the FR beers are better than the previous ones.

Also, on the food tip, the wild mushroom pot pie is insanely good and super hearty.

While some of us are throwing up in our mouths during this halftime show, some(one) can’t take their eyes off the TV screen...

Hey all! How’s everyone digging Night Moth!? I am so mad I missed the Watermelon!

Quick question! Do a lot of you go to Uppers and Downers?! We are in it this year!

Night moth and the variants were solid. Uppers and Downers never been to. Pushing FOBAB pricing for way less brews. Not sure it’s worth it.

Really, really, really love the current version of Night Moth. Haven't had any of the variants unfortunately.
Never been to Uppers and Downers but was eyeing it last year when I moved here cause I'm also a big coffee nerd. Are you guys brewing up a new release for it?

Hey @KrajDoesBeer, since the next share is so close to the Toro release, any chance us super fans can get in on an early release? Just because you love us?

So the Toro Release isn’t for another week after! Toro takes 3 weeks Bc of the Triple Dry Hop I have learned so it won’t be close to ready for the share!

So you're saying there's no chance of the cans being ready by Friday the 16th?

Well poop. That went from an exciting maybe for the bottle share and chance at cans later in the week to a no for both - I just won't make it in time for the share. Someday...

I’ve gone to Uppers and Downers every year and can never resist talking it up. While it is pricey, I love coffee, beer, and coffee beers, and it’s right up my alley. It’s one of the few fests that my wife will enjoy going to with me, and honestly we often easily spend more on a nice dinner. The venue is fantastic and the event extremely well run, and it’s never so crowded that we can’t get whatever we want.

There is usually some stuff you can get elsewhere if you look (BCBCS, Sump, Big Hugs, etc.), but it generally seems like there’s a larger than usual selection of one-offs from the brewers - at least compared to other fests. I also love that there’s also a good variety of styles - not just heavy stouts. FR has always brought something interesting - I can’t remember exactly what they had last year, but I do know that my wife went back to the booth 4 or 5 times!

I went to uppers and downers last year with friends, and we had a great time, but am skipping it going forward. We basically came to the conclusion that for the $390 for the 6 of us to attend (not including food), we could do a number of other things in the city on a Saturday night that are more fun.

It’s a well run event though, just out of my price range for 3 hours of drinking at the point.

Just realized our share is on Fat Tuesday. Seems appropriate.
