Southern Grist just opened their second taproom here in Nashville! I'm drinking their Peach Cobbler sour tonight which is fantastic!

Collective Arts out of Hamilton, Ontario has their importing offices here in my hometown of Stowe, VT. One of their owners is a second home owner in town and their art director lives here full time with his young family. Great people, great beer, and great artwork. They have a roster of over 100 artists from all over the world. Most of their beers have 4 different labels per beer and if you're lucky, you get all four in a 4-pack! Cheers!

I do spend $4/can or more ... i won't say often ..... but not rare either. Sometimes that <wk-old Equilibrium, or Industrial Arts, or Barrier, or Finback, or Grimm, or .... calls out to me.
This, for example. Out of a growler, from the brewery up the road. About as much as the above, and on par with those.

    Yummy & fresh Julius.

BUT! Still not as good as that Vanished Valley Cease & Desist I had. Hype holds a lot of weight, but at the end of the day, it's about what makes your palate happy - which Julius certainly does, just to a lesser degree :astonished::blush::grinning:

That's why people still buy the SHIT out of Torpedo and Founders' Breakfast Stout.

I'm of the camp that says if the beer is fantastic, it's worth the $4/can price. Likewise sometimes Miller Lite is okay too.

    Grapefruit Sculpin.

Wasn't a huge fan when I had my first taste of it, but it's definitely growing on me.

I'm drinking the first sam adams I've ever bought from the store, their NEIPA. It's not bad. 9 bucks for 4 pints at 6.8 abv is a reasonable value, especially when put up against the other more local option, M-43. Of course M-43 is more renowned, but it can be too juicy some times.(I know, NEIPAs are supposed to be juicy) I don't mix beers, but sam adams and M-43 may be decent candidates. The bitterness of sam adams and over pineappley flavor of m-43 would be balanced out. I may try it...
