Good amount of DDH Sue and hopsmack on the shelves at Lake Zurich Binnys.

Man, these are great times. It used to be that you had to go to SE Wisconsin and get lucky to get these beers.

Very interesting theory. The first 4 pack I bought was the only one like that. Significantly better than FL cans, better than what I remembered from old Decorah stuff, but perhaps most relevant, much different (and better) than any Decorah Sue since then. Baffling how different they were.

Hopefully this means fresh Galaxy Sue bombers are coming. The last/first ones we got a few months back weren't as fresh as the recent stuff has been. I saw King Sue was bottled at the taproom but it would've been cool if that made the cut.

Price check on these bombers? Any location, not just LZ binnys.
    Above or below $10 ?

My receipt is in the car but I think it was 11.99 for DDH sue (limit 2) and 10.99 for hopsmack

Just picked another bottle of Hopsmack and found a bottle of DDH Sue. The guy at Binnys told me only one each per customer.

Just finished one of those Pompeii cans. Damn that is good. I actually passed on Hopsmack and DDH Sue because I've had them both on more than one occasion. Both great. I just went for the more economical 4 pack for $10 option. Pretty happy with that choice.

I just finished a Pompeii can as well. I thought it was solid, but nothing special. I wouldn’t seek it out again, but also wouldn’t turn it down by any means. There are just so many IPAs out there to choose from.

Agree with you on this. Was decent but not seeking out again. King Sue cans on the other hand....end of April if I recall correctly. Can't wait

If the quality is there, and at say $14/per it would be a game changer.

I'm a fan of KS and I hope the 4pk price is in line with your comment but I'm not sure how it would be a game changer? KS is released, what, once a quarter, if that? It's certainly not going to affect what other breweries do imo. If it becomes a year round beer and former tickers turn into loyal KS drinkers then I might be on board with your 'game changer' comment.

If King Sue is going into cans does that mean everything is going into cans?

I would be surprised if that happened for the Pseudo/GN variants anytime soon. It would be great if they were but I don’t really see that as a distro play in the next couple of years

Would be nice to crush NugMo in cans, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Just go to Michigan to get the better beer (Boss Tweed) for $16.

On a more serious note, I’m guessing if King Sue were in 4 packs with any regularity, it would decrease the hype around it. It happens with pretty much every beer.
