It would be great if people could update with the total number there. Can't make it until early in the morning. If it looks like there are 1500 there already I might think otherwise. I sure hope there won't be that many there until a few hours before 11

Looks like one of the volunteers for surly will be posting updates tonight on twitter. That should help. I didn't see the 150 number under #darknessday

You've got to be kidding me. To hell with me, I guess, who works Friday and Saturday nights, and can't take today AND tomorrow off (actually, can't take today off, whether I could afford it or not.) Is 3:30 AM going to be a no-go? Will I be shut-out on my 6th time at Darkness Day?

Is parking still available in the nearby businesses or do you now have to park by Caribou?

Even if you are unable to get a wristband you will still be able to buy 4 bottles when they start selling them again at 4:30.

Chresus Jist. Never even considered it an option but fuck it, going at 1pm. Line is deep now. Frustrated and frustrating. I hope options for change are considered next year. Not because I dont want to sit in line for 18 hours, but because I dont want to sit in line for 18 hours.
I will be sober/ well rested arriving to the gate for the first time in the existence of this release.

If I don't make it for bottles, if anyone wants to trade a bottle of Darkness for a Bruery White Chocolate that'd be awesome. I will be there tomorrow even if the line is too long before I can get there.

Gonna be there about 10 pm. A couple friends meeting me there but not staying the night or buying Darkness, just hanging out to drink some. Just filled the cooler 12 small bottles and 2 big ones, some nice hard to find local stuff from Founders and Central Waters.

Feel free to stop by and say hi. I will have cookies

Same here. Last year I got there at 3:30 AM and by the time the doors opened I was too drunk to enjoy the actual event itself. It's tough to cut yourself off when people are passing around the likes of KtG and DDG. Lesson learned. This year I will be there at noonish the day of, well rested and fresh. I may not get bottles there, but there will be probably 10,000 going to liquor stores. I'm sure I can get my hands on a few of those.

Todd said they made more this year than ever before (300 Barrels) so I see no reason to stand in below freezing weather for 12+ hours.
