    900 allotments, not too bad.

Isn't it 600? Kind of low.

Love the continuing Nick Drake references coming after the Five Leaves Left series. Pink Moon is a dope record, I'm guessing that all these beers will be named after PM tracks or lyrics? "Harvest Breed" seems like a beer name already.

With a somewhat low allotment and word of 500+ people in line by 3:30, I'm surprised Things Behind the Sun made it to the bar. Infinite Energy might last until Friday. I know I'm over that beer.

There were not 500 people in line when I got there at 5, not even close. I had beer in hand at 5:45, not a bad wait at all. There was still almost 2 pallets full at 5:45 and most people I saw leaving had full alottments of it.

Yea, stop trusting the IG trolls. I can't fathom there was even close to 300 people in line, much less 500.

I pulled up at 6:55, put the hazards on, parked directly across from garage illegally, got my 3 6 pks, and was back in my car in 90 seconds. This is the absolute reality for just about every non-shake can release now.

I picked up a couple 4 packs of both last night at 9pm with no line, this new reality is a great reality.

So it sounds like there will be cans for opening today.....and then some. Has anyone tried the Things Behind the Sun yet? I thought it was pretty good, will definitely improve with a week or two. It might be my imagination, but I really got the chocolate ice cream type flavor on the back end.

Infinite Energy is one of my favorite beers, but I thought the last batch was subpar.

I used to like it a lot, and still do to some extent, but if I was at a can release and that was one of the cans I don't think I would even buy any. I think I just drank too much of it.

Besides the fact that its absolutely absurd and makes things even worse for normal people, I kind of love that there's a pre-line now. The line-evaders are finally waiting in the line that they deserve.

Things Behind the Sun is fine, I think it's drinking fine now and will probably meld a little more with some age on it but aside from being a solid TH dipa I'm not really getting much weirdness or anything unusual. Has the consistency of some shakes though, full bodied for sure.

Yea, I'm not getting anything resembling an ice cream sandwich. Finish is a tad harsh, but it's not a bad beer. Worth $24/4pk?... no. Then again, what hoppy beer is?

I think that is my new favorite beer quote "yeah, I'm not getting anything resembling an ice cream sandwich". What a time.

Why do the "line-evaders" "deserve" a line if they're clearly abiding by a policy that (1) allows for people to do other things than standing in line, (2) works on a first-come-first-served basis, and (3) is clearly ratified by the brewery (likely because it helps to make them more money and keeps the community happier)?... is it just a matter of "I have to wait in line at some breweries so other people should have to too!!"?

Because the system makes it really easy to "wait" in line without actually eliminating the line, it encourages more people to participate and thus lengthens the actual line.
