Thanks! Sadly I won't be around to pick this up as my non-profit has our annual Gala that day. I was hoping it'd be a Friday release (but I know they previously did Saturdays... wishful thinking). Do they usually sell out or any chance I'd be lucky to pick up the following Thursday?

I would expect at least the cans to sell out Saturday.

Here is this weeks line up also the story on cans. Not a lot of cases of either one so even at $18.00 a 4 pack they won't last long.

Sorry about this lost power just got it back, here is the rest of the post

Damn that storm of season came out of nowhere! We are going to do everything in our power to be open tomorrow night but check out social media and the website before you roll out. We got a banger of a weekend lined up for ya'll including some package drops. For the taps starting on Friday we have a new beer landing called "Intergalactic Kegger" that is a 6.3% ABV American IPA DDH with Vic Secret & Denali. On Saturday we are re-tapping what's left of the "Lil' Shimmy Ye'" variant with Pineapple, Mango, & Vanilla Bean and dropping a fresh batch of "Tuxedo Bulldozer" a 6% ABV American IPA DDH with Rakau, Azacca, & El Dorado. Stay tuned for full descriptions of new beers in the taproom, on the website & on Untappd.

Also on Saturday we are dropping some packaged goods at 12pm when we open. We will have four packs of both "Gathering Clouds" & "Here There Be Monsters". "Gathering Clouds" is one of our American IPAs 6.3% ABV DDH with Rakau, Southern Cross, Galaxy, & Motueka. Grassy lemon aspen shortcake with a little spelt to help lift the sweet malt tones into a heady mix teeming with notes of lemon peel, pine needles, caramelized pineapple, and a clean spice bitterness. A beautiful cluster of sweet, grass, resin and fruit. "Here There Be Monsters" is one of our American IPAs 6.8% ABV DDH with Wakatu, Vic Secret, & Rakau. A terra incognita of wheat, oats and hops. What lurks within the odyssey is a swaggy grog, a thunderous clap of perfumey pineapple, rough grassy pine, peaches and musk melon. Finally we are super excited for the third packaged release on Saturday of our first bottle. The expedition of a Golden Ale from primary fermentation in stainless steel to a mixed culture secondary in a chardonnay barrel from Wattle Creek Vineyard in Napa Valley aged atop a ludicrous amount of pureed pineapple culminating in a single barrel of unblended liquid exhibiting dry characteristics with wafts of pineapple in the nose & finish and a pleasant acidity throughout. When something so magnificent in its uniqueness and singularity ends, the reverberations are apparent to those who are mindful of it. For the cans we got 30 cases of "Here There Be Monsters" and 25 cases of "Gathering Clouds" so allotments are 1 four-pack of each per person for $18. For the bottle we got 234 500ml bottles as well as 144 limited glasses so the allotment is one bottle, $16, and one glass, $10, per person but if purchased together the package will be $22.

Just drove past Twin Elephant at 11:30 . The parking lot was jammed as was the parking on River Rd. The line looked to be about 75 people long and growing.

The beer is great, but there’s gotta be a better / fairer way to handle the can / bottle line. They are doing as good as they can handling the chaos / popularity of that place, but anybody drinking inside could stroll up and get a bottle or cans and tons of people went in past the line saying they were going in for draft pours only. When it’s a 1 4-pack limit and one of the beers has only 24 cases (and the line is over an hour long) they should leave no room for shenanigans at all. It’s the only respectful way to treat the folks in line. Tickets, something!
