Damn, really excited for this! Can't wait to grab a few. CW seems to be dropping some pretty serious hop bombs lately (Vulture Culture, No Hope for the Kids, Velocirapture etc.) and they're killing it.

 

I think Counterweight is the best kept secret in New England beer. Double inundation is as good or better than anything ive had from treehouse, bissel or trillium. In my opinion its really that good. I really can’t understand how people haven’t caught on yet. Not complaining though!!

 

As someone who has never seen a line bigger than 4 people at the door before they open, I think you should just zip it

 

Yeah - very sad about this. SC was my favorite IPA but the recipie definitely changed. I’m not a fan of the hazy juice bomb thing, but I know I’m in the minority. All else fails, I’ll keep stocking my fridge with Void and Workhorse.

 

I agree but shhhhhhhhhh. I'm bummed I am going to probably miss out on this beer this weekend!

New beer out today at CW: Counterpunch IPA. Amarillo, Galaxy, and Citra. Looking dope and hazy. Love that hop combo, too.

 

Yeah I agree, just came here to post this. It looks yummy. My heading up to Maine for the Dinner release Saturday and maybe Bissell Bros. on the way home if the line is not to stupidly long. So it's not like I need to get some today

Maybe just a 4 pack or two....

 

I missed out on Double Innundation. Hopefully this new one sticks around until tomorrow.

 

Yeah you should be fine. It seems like it's the DIPAs that draw the crowds. No surprise there.

Had the Counterpunch last night. Nice hazy brew. It actually grew on me the more it warmed up, definitely getting the Amarillo and galaxy notes, but it's all in a good balance. Smooth body and feels light. Going to drink 1 or 2 more cans before I make a final call, but it is very good.
