Was able to snag a few bottles of King Sue this week. It’s was a haze bomb with the perfect hop bite. Delicious. Not cheap.....$12.99 at Binnys but good stuff.

Sosus at my friendly downstate Binny's today. Bottled 3/12. I hadn't been there in a good week and a half (:pensive:), so no idea when it showed.

Binny’s STC has GNug cans with a 1/10 stamp so watch your dates

Were these Nugget cans from Decorah? In the new boxed packaging?

Thank you for confirming! Golden Nugget was my first ever TG beer and I remember it easily living up to the hype, so I was really looking forward to getting some regular old Nugget out of Decorah again. Not really complaining since TG has been really good lately getting us fresh beers, just a bit disappointed and will hope for a fresher batch next time.

Just wanted you nerds to know that I am currently drinking a hazy as hell, dank as fuck, canned on 3/1 can of Sue. Tastes beautiful with notes of pineapple.

If they're back to secretly canning that DDH Sue, or whatever was in the very first Iowa Sue drop late last year, will buy this non stop.

But a nagging suspicion will get burned by whatever that Sue was in Jan/Feb, even if $10.

They just released new batch at TG yesterday. Hopefully it makes its way to Chicago very soon. It is excellent, and I prefer it to both King Sue and Sosus (although all 3 are great).

If you can't get your hands on some let me know. I was at the brewery this weekend and grab a few bottles.

Whole Foods will be a better option than TJs. WF will have whatever is available in Chicago - PseudoSue, Dorothy's, Golden Nugget and Pompeii are the ones Ive seen most recently. Also, the bomber selection has been quite good - King Sue, Sosus, NugMo, DDH Pseudo Sue all have recently been on shelves.

@FBarber nailed it. I would also suggest going to Binny’s, though. An even larger selection than WF.

What's the can date? Struggling to find anything newer than January. @Jplachy raved about 3/1 a few posts up, and someone else was said a regular keg last week was one of best they've had.

I'm not sure, I'll have to run to Binnys. I know that places like Beer Temple and Open Bottle have shown them in this week's delivery so I assume they're fairly fresh.
