Tad far for me, I'm in HB. Does look like it's close to HPB Chinatown so I'll have to try and remember.

That must be on your way home eh?

I've seen Windsor get it but as that's on way home from work, sometimes the timing isn't in my favor.

Anyone see Ironfire's Last Rites around? Super good underrated beer that is impossible to find. MR K posted he had it, but that was 5 days ago. It's a triple chocolate BBA stout.

When I first had it in 2016, I was blown away. Last year it didn't do it for me and I'm not searching it out anymore. Sitting on a few bottles of 2016 and 2017 hoping they develop over time.

I'm still enjoying mine. A wonderfully done beer especially considering the ABV. Most stouts would have a syrupy mouthfeel at that abv. This one does not. Plus it's the most chocolate-forward beer I've probably ever enjoyed. Will buy several bottles next time I see it.

I've only had the 2015 batch and I was blown as away as well. Haven't had any since 2015. Well, I did crack my second to last bottle of it in December last year and it tasted amazing. Down to one more bottle of 2015.

Any KBS sightings around Orange County yet? Haven't heard a peep this year.

Total Wine HB had about 6 cases on Friday.

Was it on the floor? Last year they held the KBS 4 packs in the back for their members only. Probably because last year was the first year we got it and in 4 packs. The managear told me I had to be a member, he ended up giving me one anyways but still...

Just walked in to Total Wine Long Beach. They have a bunch up front.

Yep, it was in the center front area with the other seasonal four/six packs. They also had a few 4-packs on the front counter.

TW Redondo had KBS 4 packs behind the counter Friday. Any Waldos’ Special Ale sightings?

I don't like that place even though it's the closest spot to me. Like any other TW or BevMo, they keep a ton of hoppy beers out on the floor and don't seem too keen on freshness. What really irks me about this spot in particular, though, is that you have to know the secret handshake or something to get beers they keep behind the counter and I'm not kissing anyone's ass to get the beers they keep back there.

Agree. Even though my TWHB has most of the cans and bottles on the shelves they do carry a lot inside the cooler and in the back of the cooler where you can go inside and pick and choose whatever's available. I'm sure the HB does the same as far as keeping the sweet stuff in the front behind the cs counter. I can less about the sweet stuff. Just keep those ipa's available. But I think they should expand on the cooler space. It does seem like they keep the better IPA's in the cooler and let the sh!te ipa's on the shelves.

I don't do BevMo you know.
