Twin Elephant Brewing to open

Split the Megehertz is very, very good. Not Equilibrium good but the difference isn't what it would have been 6 months ago. These guys are getting better every week and will be a force to be reckoned with!

They added Dude...Maintain to the menu last night (8% IPA brewed with honey, had been brewed previously), and only had 6 beers on tap... did they get crushed last weekend with LSY? Must be 1-2 beers dropping this weekend I would think...

 

based on the coming soon from a few weeks ago, Crooked Spoke could be releasing this week. Watch, they'll do a Kane 11:59am style announcement for cans

 

just added Gathering Clouds and a new beer (Pale Ale) East Side Mags...

 

hmm interesting. East Side Mags (based on information from their site) contains Simcoe. I know they previously ditched Simcoe in Shimmy Ye because they were "not feeling" the batch they had, wonder if they got some new simcoe?

 

I thought that Dude . . . Maintain was extraordinary. Lots of honey and honey dew melon and the blend of Citra, Amarillo, and Denali hops is delicate and delicious. This is one of TE's best IPAs to date. Try it if you can. It's really, really good!

Nice! I was hoping that would have been on tap, but didn’t get my hands on any.

 

If anyone misses the original version of Pollinator from Magnify (think before the Belgian yeast strains), Dude Maintain is easily above-replacement level for it.

 

The Black Lager event they posted on FB for next week looks pretty interesting.

 

agreed... guess it was about a year ago, but they did something similar for that same brew contest winner - it was a real tasty IPA called Hazy Shade of Citra...

the galaxy IPA dropping today sounds very promising...

interesting that Crooked Spoke Adjacent, which was in the On Deck announcement several weeks ago still hasn't dropped... still hoping for cans of that one...
