Delicious shandy! Fantastic head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, melon, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/clove; with balanced wheat, cracker, biscuity malts; some herbal/grassy hops and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy bitterness, peppery yeast spiciness; and light citrus tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Creamy/bready/grainy wheat; light hop stickiness and fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/spicy/carbonated dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.2%. Definitely the best one I've had out of 9 of the series. Narrowly beating out grapefruit and pomegranate. Perfectly balanced wheat beer and orange juice flavors. Surprising amount of yeast presence as well. 3.93


Nice IPA. Great head retention, thick lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, apricot, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, wood, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted biscuit, light caramel malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, increasing bitter dryness, minimal hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, 7.1%. Pretty old school stuff. A little too dank, earthy, and resinous than I'd prefer; but well balanced. Mix of English/C hops most likely. 3.68


3 week old canning. Fantastic DIPA! Amazing lasting head retention and thick lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready malt mouthfeel; some sticky hops and slight resins. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, never astringent. Amazingly soft feel, super drinkable. Zero warming 7.8%. Perfect showcase of Simcoe/Amarillo, I would have expected nothing less. Extremely juicy and fairly dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, not overly sweet. 4.28
