Nice dark lager. Great head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, and nutty malts; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, and herbal/grassy hops. Touch of fruitiness, but not overwhelming. Light herbal/grassy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malt mouthfeel; light sticky hop and chalky roast. Lightly increasing lingering hop/roast dryness. Nicely clean lagering, not too fruity/yeasty. Very flavorful for 5%. Really spot on stuff for expectations. Good style example. Clean and nicely rich roast/bready malts, mild hop balance. Kind of midway between a dunkel and schwarzbier. 3.68

The newest stormy series. This was awesome! Great head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, coconut, lemon zest, citrus peel/rind, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight resins/rinds, lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Amazingly drinkable; great soft mouthfeel, and not aggressive at all. Still not better than original stormy, but really close; and best since the first. Falconers Flight/Mosaic hops. Perfectly balanced juicy/dank hop complexity; nice bready oat/malt backbone, minimal residual sweetness. Will be buying more for sure. Spot on NEIPA. All the others were way too bitter/resinous. They got it dialed in again. 4.13

Outstanding dessert Berliner! Awesome head retention/lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, hay, straw, and grass; with balanced vanilla, cream, wheat, white bready malt sweetness; light lacto funk and yeast earthiness. Very mild lactic tartness and herbal/grassy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy/silky/bready wheat/lactose mouthfeel; slight lactic acid and sticky hops. Slightly increasing lingering tart dryness. Insanely drinkable, wow. Right on par with the rest of their dessert Berliners. Tastes like a citrus fruit milkshake/ice cream. Awesome balance of fruity Lacto, juicy hops, vanilla, lactose, and malts. Equally as impressive as the Galaxy Pop! I had last month. 4.18

Apparently the GF has never heard Rico Suave. Perhaps flyover has its privileges.

I see we both listened to the Eagles today.

Amen my friend. I am a medical marvel. Meds have cost well over $1 million dollars the last twenty years. Not to mention the surgeries. But still better than pushing daisies.

My final can of the last batch of Spindletap’s Hazier. Still so good about a month “old”.

More being canned next week! Along with Cosmic Clouds and Juiceton!!

Locked up my Midtown apartment in Houston today! Move-in in 3 weeks. 5 minutes from Toyota Center, 10 minutes from Minute Maid Park. I’m not mad about the location.
    Cheers.

I detected more of a racoon pee nose, and a coyote pee mouthfeel, but it may have changed a bit as it traveled further east.

Thank you for the kind words. But life is good. Daughter #1 just had a baby. Born Jan 26. Same birthday as my daughter and her husband. How weird is that! Daughter #2 is getting married in two weeks to a great kid.

In addition to that, I live in the best beer place in the world! I like your post. Here is hoping you do not get hit by a bus. I would miss your humor.

Possibly but they have that brewery in Chicago now so I expect my cat pee fresh.
