It was rough! Let me tell you

 

Dinner at Rock Bottom and a Kolsch and Milk Stout with my 52 Burgers for $50 I got on Black Friday. Back home and getting into a growler of Vindication BA Freedom Stout. Eric FINALLY did this....right as they're about to shut the doors....

No photo, but Stone Ruination 2.0. It's way hazier than I remember, have they changed it from a year or so ago? Very fruity hop flavors on the front.

 

All right, rolling right along. Supposed to hit the gym again tomorrow, but I might shoot for a later start time at this point. It's not too late here, but I've had a little nip of what's in the background here:


The Troegenator is a bit old, and with the environmental recent palate experiences seems a tad bland. Can't blame the beer directly, though not sure whether time or spirit influence are to blame. Or not. Either way, cheers, somewhat, kinda, almost, sorta LNBA.

 

This is great fresh, never realized until now.

 

This is tasting excellent after the Velvet Merkin. From subtle barrel influenced oatmeal stout with no additions, to a sweeter, more barrel heavy beer with the VAS flavor additions. Nice progression.

had a sam 76 then a dales pale ale now having my first jai alai ipa and really am enjoying and wil ldefently get it again going gto have 1 or 2 more then end it with a sierra nevada porter

 

Busy ass day... Mrs. Powell & I went hiking at the twin Trail near Lake Weddington in the Ozark National Forest. Not a great hike, but still pretty good tons of Dogwoods in Flower.

Afterwards we went to a German Joint, had Southern Gothic Pils from Sierra Nevada mit meine Wursts.
Later we went out for dinner & then drinks Ozark Landbier & Mango IPA, both good. Then a Springfield Brewing Green Ghost IPA ( good ) & then a Mother's Rum Barrel MILF ( yuck ) & Now a Creature Comforts Athena Paradiso

 

wow i really want to try that cigar city brown ale but i haven't seen it near me only the jai alai and Florida cracker

 

Having a 2018 KBS and watching Father Brown on Netflix. To lazy to take a pick. I'll tell you though that you shouldn't hear any more complaints from Michiganders about how we get shafted on the amount of KBS available in-state. Quite plentiful this year.
