Golden nugget has been my repeat buy as well. Really enjoyable beer

I gave into a bomber for the galaxy Sue. Looking forward to that tonight, super hazy in the bottle and was priced alright ($10)

not overly impressed with galaxy PS. Near the bottom of PS beers I've tried so far. Probably goes

    SOSUS > GN > psuedo > pompeii > galaxy PS > supasumo

    for me anyway.

So I completely retract my previous statement.

In the past two months or so I’ve bought more from Toppling Goliath than from any other one brewery. For quality/price/ease of finding, there’s really not many better deals.

Went to my favorite store yesterday. Just wanted a 4 pack of an IPA for the weekend. $20-22 for SingleCut, $15-18 for Finback/Foreign Objects/Sip of Sunshine and a ton of others, or $12-13 for Golden Nugget or Pseudo. Toss up between them and some Night Shift options, but decided on Golden Nugget since it’s been a long time since I’ve had it.

Still not spending $11-16 for a bomber, but I’ll continue to grab their 4-packs.

Seems King Sue is creeping closer. That is, Atlas Liquors has one bottle of it.

Saw a bomber of King Sue tonight at a local liquor store for $25! Other Toppling Goliath beers seemed to be competitively priced. A four pack of Pompei was $11:99
I believe. However, $25 for KS seems ridiculously overpriced to me.

Seems and is. Haven’t heard of any place selling KS bombers for anywhere close to that. That’s crazy.

Agreed. I've seen it for 12 to 14 dollars. You could out em for that...

Scorpius Morchella DIPA dropped yesterday in IA. First bottling ever of it.

You will get an opportunity at it soon. Buy it. It is delicious.

Easy for you to say. You don't have to borrow money from your 401K to buy a bottle like we do here in MA.

Blame your packies for the pricing. They are not the cheapest in IA either. Bombers range from 9.99-11.99 here. Scorpius ran 11.99

Also, I get Trillium/Treehouse Porch drops nearly every week. I can overspend on beer as well lol

Have had both King Sue and Supa Sumo on tap, both of which are excellent. I can most definitely see myself ordering them on tap whenever I see them.

That being said, I'm drinking a Psuedo Sue which is a little over a month old, still pretty fresh IMO, but noticed several cases sitting in the back of the store. If this beer had sat for another week, I don't think I would purchase.

It's a good beer, at a great price point, and conveniently in many store, but I'd spend 2 bucks more any day of the week for fresh Fort Point (I get its not as easy for everyone to make that trip to Trill).

TG offerings will continue to sell, especially once the bombers get into cans, but it's clearly going the same route as most new breweries introduced to the market. Wonder what the next new shiny brewery will be.

Not certain on hops. A mix of Pacific NW and Southern Hemisphere hops. DIPA 100+ IBU 7.8%abv. And the beer is brewed with Morel Mushrooms.

Really tough to put down what it tastes like. Really well blended tropical fruit with equals amounts of spicy, floral tones. a little sweet on top. I'd put it below King Sue and Fire Skulls, Money. I'd say it's better than Hopsmack, Sosus, and Supa.

It's an interesting beer. One of those that makes you think and has subtitles.

i'm drinking it now. Firmly behind SOSUS for me. Firmly ahead of Supa.
