Wow this may be the worst news in the TH page in months. Glad the it was only 2pp then. I betta drink my last can this weekend. On a positive note VG from 4/17 is still rocking!

Literally just finished a can from that batch. As good as the one I had a month ago.

Drinking a DHH Sleeper and all I can think about is how good a TH beer featuring El Dorado would be...

Yo okay so this is exactly how I have felt about Haze in recent months. I don't take many trips to TH, so most of my experiences have been via trades/friends. I've consumed a few cans within 2-3 days of canning, and they've been delicious. Not quite as punchy or intensely peachy as Monson Haze, but very good nonetheless. But every can I've had that's more than a week old has been extremely muted in aroma and rather malt-forward (for a Tree House beer) in taste. Simply put, they taste dull, sweet, and a shell of the explosively flavorful Haze I fell in love with.

I'm aware similar experiences have been expressed here before, but I was very curious as to whether or not the discrepancy would translate to the imperialized Very Hazy. I've only ever had two cans of VH back in August 2016 (?), and at the time, it was the best hoppy beer I'd ever had. I thought about mustering up a trade for this release, but decided it best to wait on reviews. Early reports were that it was incredible, but I've heard a few people say the same thing you've said--that is, that it is falling off quickly, as I've found with Haze of late. Makes me wonder if there's a certain process or ingredient issues that is plaguing the Haze family.

Of course other variable are involved; I am not a robot, but trust me, it was off.

Work out a trade in advance. Swap quickly in the lot. Sure some MW brews carry some stroke. Just make it worthwhile. Not only for Trade House but the rest of the NE goodies.

I feel like TH cans are super thin, its hard to explain. hold an empty can of another brand that has a logo laser etched into it, it will feel heavier. I kept complaining to my girl and friends that after a few weeks whatever beer I bought from TH wouldn't taste nearly as good and in fact I would dislike it after about 2-3 weeks. Julius and Haze were the biggest drop offs for me, green has been the only one that stays consistent for the most part in the can. Cans would be put into a cooler with ice and driven directly to a fridge, never warmed. It could be these cans causing that drop off, or something else entirely. but you're not alone with feeling like these things fall off way too fast. I've had cans of Trill/other half/tired hands that have been fine two months later.

Some folks on this forum actually like honest feedback- I don't dig your attempt at humor; it seems sad, lonely, and angry. Plus, skelator sucks!

I'm being honest, it's part of the reason I stopped going there because buying a case of their beer was setting myself up to be mad 2 weeks later..... I don't see where I was being sarcastic at all, your meter is off.

Right. Complaining about the weight of an empty can....just find more things to complain about....I find their pop-tops to be a bit stiff! And don't get me started on the tapered lip of the can. Amateur hour, Tree House. AMATEUR.

postage scales are nowhere near accurate for weed unless you're weighing ounces. get with the program.

C'mon man, this is a Tree House thread, you should know how it works around here. Pic of the inside of the cans being equally empty or else it's fake news.
