Received a box from Duff247 today. Sometimes you receive a box that just drops your jaw to the floor.

The agree upon was the JK Original Black Metal and the Boxer's Revenge.
The extras were the JK Bonnie the Rare (!!!), Freetail Yo Soy Un Berliner(!!!), Black Butte XXIV, Saint Arnold Divine Reserve 12, Maui Sobre'humano Palena'ole, and Southern Star Buried Hatchet Stout... also glassware from his local Ranger Creek Brewery..

THIS is called killing someone with extras!

Only if it's purple flavored bro, the rest of that lineup is pure shit.

Came back from Darkness Day with a car packed to the brim with man and beer. 19 hours each way and not an inch to move by the time we grabbed the last of our haul at Three Floyd's on the way home...

That is 37 bottles of Darkness...the perfect amount if you ask me.

    ($18 x 37) =$ [IMG]

My share of the Darkness haul after trading a few to MordorMongo and Jisom123

Also made a few trades along the way...

Thank you makdeco for the RR and Cascade sours!

Thank you Plumcrazyfx for a bottle a Syx and 2x Nemesis '10 and Millelacsmark for:

(unfortunately one bottle of Syx was taken/stolen Saturday afternoon)

Leschkie and his band of merry altruists hooked me up with a bottle of FfaC (see the Beer it Forward forum for details on his incredible LIF dedicated to kicking cancer's ass!). Incredible group of BA's, I can't thank you enough for taking up such a great cause.

ObiWanKushnobi hunted me down and gifted me this awesome bottle of Brau Brothers BA Belgian Quad! Thanks man, can't wait to share this one with friends back home.

Stopped at Binnys in Chicago for some Ska Mole Stout, Two Brothers, Lagunitas and a few extra Hoppin' Frog goodies.

Case of Zombie Dust, Teku glasses, Baller Stout, Panzer Wolves, Stack N Stabb & Topless Wytch from FFF on the way home.

Between Duels, Shoo65 and MordorMongo I got to bring a case of BCBS back to this high ABV wasteland known as Ohio. Thank you all!

MordorMongo also extraed(!!!) Westy8, Jackie O's Bourbon Berry Grove, Peoples BA Porter and Fou Foune!!! Are you kidding me???

Couldn't have imagined a better trip! Cheers!

Only 1 of those is actually from San Diego (and even that one is only half San Diego). Why no Alpine? Or Alesmith? Or Societe? Or Iron Fist? Or Stone? Or Ballast Point?

Good lord, anything anyone else posts is going to pale in comparison to that. I'm a noob, but I'm constantly amazed at the hauls people bring home on here.

    You did very well.

Nelson, Duet, Pliny, Sculpin and Double Dorado are amazing. Idiot, Simtra, Speedway, Alesmith IPA and Hopsickle are awesome. Hangar Double IPA ranges from drinkable to good depending on freshness. Overall a great hall with three tough to finds.

When I go to So Cal most of what I bring back isn't from So Cal either. They have better distro so you can get all kinds of goodness from everywhere. For example, AleSmith, Stone and Ballast Point are all available where I live.

These are my hauls from So Cal the last couple times. You'll notice its mostly from other places.

21 total, 8 from California overall, 4 from So Cal

Thats what happens when you get to a distro heaven like So Cal.

Exactly what I was going to say. I live in NH and can't get any Russian River here but I can get Stone, AleSmith, Mongo etc without a problem. The other European beers that I got were little Sirens that sang songs to me and made me pick them up. Wasn't the first time I gave in to those little minxes, and it won't be the last.
