yeah last year was super enjoyable and my friend and I were actually able to sit and drink beer (which can be rare on a saturday given how crowded it gets).

kinda have to wonder if they'll be doing a "silent" release as well.

Don't know about the silent release, I think they want to keep the crowds manageable... but hopefully something new/special on tap...

I was there this Saturday afternoon to fill a growler, and there was literally like 8-10 people there for the half hour I was inside... But I think the nice weather / derby / cinco de mayo kept people away

Tough now that Magnify is throwing a birthday bash concurrent to TE

“There will be no packaged release on Saturday but we do have some super special tappings along with something crazy up our sleeves planned for Saturday!”

…Still hoping TE is a super chill event: last year was quite fun, as @bryantc3 stated

    That seems fair to me.

Bummed I may have to miss this as well due to a family thing...hoping I can stop by after later in the afternoon.

They just posted pictures of the 2nd anniversary glasses on social media. Pretty cool 8-bit Oregon trail-like design. I’d post here but I’m running around on mobile.

not sure many people picked up on it, but the design is a reference from Teen Titans Go...

i thought it was a reference to the Oregon trail game, where it was common for your character (or family members) to die of dysentery? Given the age(s) of the TE staff, it would make sense that they played the game growing up.

also, definitely an design to release.

Here’s this week’s full email. Don’t know if I’ll be able to swing by Saturday, but happy to see Diamonds and Pearls, will probably try and grab a growler Friday. Mostly IPA/Pale Ales in the secondary, but The Lil Shimmy looks pretty interesting to..pineapple and vanilla:

Yes yes ya'll and we don't quite. The TEB family is uber excited to celebrate 2 insane years with you crazy cats this weekend. We are also so humbled and appreciative of the relationships we have made with you along the way and what you have helped this brand and our wonderful community space that is the taproom become. Without your enjoyment of the suds we make and the feedback you provide to help guide us in the right direction, we are nothing. So to start off we will have a fresh batch of "Diamonds & Pearls" our 5.8% ABV Milk Stout with locally roasted coffee from our friends at Boxwood CoffeeRoasters dropping on Thursday. A dark, sweet & rich stout base dropped on locally roasted El Jefe coffee beans with a hit of lactose to add a smooth full body. Robust flavors of baker's chocolate, toasted almond, and dark roast coffee beans. I know some folks have been waiting quite awhile for this so we appreciate the patience.

On Friday, we will have house favorite IPA "Gathering Clouds" making a return. At 6.4% ABV and DDH with Galaxy, Southern Cross, Motueka, Rakau, & Vic Secret with a little spelt to help lift the sweet malt tones into a heady mix. Teeming with notes of lemon peel, pine needles, caramelized pineapple, clean spice bitterness. Beautiful cluster of sweet, grass, resin and fruit.

Saturday is the big day for the celebration. We will be opening an hour later that day at 1pm and we will be doing $2 tickets at the door since this is technically a private event. That means no large group gatherings, parties, etc. There will be tons of food Argentinian chicken grill, a full roasted pig, smoked and fried bacon, smoked salmon, steam bao bun sandwiches, and more. We will have one off limited glassware and shirts. For beers we are adding a couple extra temp taps so we can serve 11-12 beers instead of 8. We will have some overflow parking available but please try and carpool or use Uber/Lyft. There will be three additional beers being tapped on Saturday. First we have the return of "Juicy Busey" our 7.7% ABV Hoppy Saison that gets a dry hop of Rakau & Citra that is semi-dry, smooth and full with notes of apricot, passionfruit and melons. Fulgent, big, refreshing & divine. Second coming back into the fold is "True Believers" an American IPA coming in at 7.7% ABV and DDH with Simcoe, Citra, & Mosaic. Dank and dry with a bouncy base of pils, melodic anchor of tropical flavors and a bitter orange thump. Lastly we have "Split the Megahertz" a newer IPA we have fallen in love with that comes in at 6.6% ABV and DDH with Lemon Drop, Galaxy, & Citra. Splash of milk sugar makes this guzzler slick and chewy in the jugular wrapped up in soft golden arms. Notes of ripe honeydew, mango bellini, nectarine and mixed melon delight.

HEADS UP, we were informed that we are not technically allowed to have food delivery in our brewery per state regulations. You are able to bring food, but if you NEED to have delivery, please meet the delivery people outside in the parking lot.

This batch of Diamonds and Pearls is just great! It's one of the very best Milk Stouts I've ever had the pleasure to drink.

Did people see this? I feel bad they had to deal with this, and it's honestly one of the dumbest things. How is the $5 any different than the original $2? We seriously need to have these NJ laws changed.

    Also, love the shirt!

IT shows how out of it (or old) I am. This is the 1st time I've heard of either of them!
By the way Alien Drawl the new Double Cream IPA is excellent.
