From the reviews it sounds like the peach sour is basically like peach frucht

Does anyone know when we find out if we won the silent auction?

Thanks for the excellent SMM reviews, everyone! It's always appreciated by us out-of-towners

No problem. I'm usually the out of towner so I figured I'd give what I could. That was probably the first SMM I've been to in like 2 years. That 2013 Chocolate Rain and the Cognac Sucre were nice surprises.

Just opened the one I picked up from Tavour and was really impressed by it. A very well balanced beer that even had non-sour friends enjoying it.

Is this a B2, with only Cab Sauv barrels, no Sauv Blanc?

But oak aged, and likely not a wheat base. @BruerJoel care to comment? Also can we confirmation on distro? I'm starting to enjoy you guys sending stuff to DC, easier to get from there and not have to buy it in OC then request shipping. Also, what happened to that plum sour from a few months back?

Plum sour was a festival exclusive beer, with the leftovers sold to Hoarder's. No distro for that one.

Yes I know. Joel said they had one left for me...being a Hoarder and all. I just missed it since allocations have been so short lately.

Peach Sour Blonde is our sour blonde base, which is barrel aged and also is the base for Rueuze. It's quite a bit more funky and complex than the Frucht base. It does contain wheat and will see distro.

We purposefully went with a very descriptive name to measure the impact of a clear description of a beer compared to a fanciful name where the description is secondary to the name, we'll see!

    Cheers,
    Patrick

Anyone happen to know the dimensions of the 9-bottle shipper offhand?

That sour blonde base has given me so much happiness. And cost me so much money......

Man, I really thought we'd see a laundry list of archive beers today - Fridays are good sales days for a lot of businesses since it's payday for many people.

Today's my 5th anniversary at my current job, so I brought in a Sucre Rye to share around - I figure it was probably brewed right around the time I started, give or take. Hot damn it's good. So tasty, and not a hint of going stale. I look at my cellar inventory and say, "Hmm... I have many Bruery Anniversary beers, I don't need more..." and then this gives me pause...

Also, watching the uninitiated try this beer is worth the price of admission.

Drinking my Vanilla BT tonight. Glad they finally bottled it, because it tastes incredible. It might not be dramatically different from regular BT, but the vanilla is definitely present, and adds to the overall nose and taste profile.

Let’s make this an annual release, along with Rue d Floyd, and I can guarantee that there will be two beers that won’t make it to second chance sales any time soon.
