You forgot BVDL. Or maybe that’s a plus?!?

It is indeed one of the plus options. I didn't want to offer it right off the bat and go all crazy overboard. Trying to keep the tradez value down so I can try and win that trade still.

Genuinely curious what they will do if like 2000 people are registered on eventBrite for each day and they only have like 600 bottles for each day?? Will they announce it?

Absolutely nothing. I think that was made very clear by their "we don't really care if you line up before 7 and get hammered, but the cops might" stance.

What would be slightly funny is if they end up having more people in line than bottles before 7am each morning

Announce what? From the sound of it they already know based on the number of registrations that they’re short on bottles. But announcing it will really only mean that people will line up earlier.

Plus, factor in that not everyone that registered will show up (which is obvious to be sure). Hell, I registered my wife for Saturday in the off chance that come noon and there are still bottles left she can meet me up there. But we all know that that’s not going to happen.

Brace yourself for uncontrollable laughter, because I wouldn’t be surprised at all that this will indeed be the case.

This thread is quite entertaining. Angry Chair literally did this EXACT same thing back in March, only they did it for 5 straight weekdays smack dab in the middle of a residential area with a school no less. The line got worse with each passing day as more and more out of town-ers came in and the beers got more whalez-y.

DB Popinski and BA Rocky Road had never been released before and still traded insanely high, due to AC's reputation. They have slightly more of a track record than Shaun but Chaos 2017 was phenomenal and BA Karma won f'n best in show at FOBAB. Of course these beers are going to be highly sought after.

As much as I spent the past day or so being annoyed (again) at More for this release coming up, I’m really intrigued to try DDH K.I.S.S. I really enjoyed the regular version I had last weekend. I don’t see myself getting out there for this one, though.

Yea, I've already predicted Sunday will be a AC style mess. If the cops don't patrol this thing Friday, I guarantee they will be by sunday. I wonder what the Saturday line will look like with DLD.

AC has also vowed to never do that again on site. They got a TON of pushback from, well, a lot of different areas.

On the bright side, they did start selling bottles SUPER early to get the crowds out of the area.

Find me at DLD, think this is the lighter beer I'll bring.

A lot of Angry Chair comparisons. Sonny, Perry and Shaun should all have more experience with this type of thing, we'll see. Only they know how many bottles there are.

This is exactly what I think will happen next weekend.

AC's main reason was the residential neighborhood and school. A line down the path is a little less intrusive than the AC situation. That said, I am not so sure this ends well for More either. This may be the last time they do this.

I thought that would've been the case after Henna b2 release, and when they went on-line ticket routefor b3 I assumed that their motivation was to make the process smoother and avoid the kind of mess Henna b2 created. Instead, they decided to go back to shitshow route of releasing beer and then just amplify it.

As someone who's considered himself a MoRE fan, this 3 steps backward approach from Henna b3 is very disappointing and I am not convinced that even if this release turns out disastrous (trash everywhere, 3 day shanty town, line-cutting, fist fights) that they would decide not to do it again.

I think the only thing that will stop More from doing the big time hype releases like this is being told flat out by VPPD and/or some government official that they gave to stop.

And while I'm sure it pisses of some of the neighbors, part of me thinks that the press is good for VP and if mOre is successful, it means more traffic to town and more tax money. My guess is that they'll look the other way as long as someone isn't crapping on the trail or lighting up a trashcan fire to keep warm.

In line with this, I imagine moRe will have some folks working to make sure that people clean up and don't act like total savages.

    ...or maybe not.
