Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2018

Not Twin Cities, but Spilled Grain in Annandale has crawlers of their very popular Lake Sylvia in the cooler. It was supposed to only be a one time beer last year, but the demand was overwhelming, and they brought it back.

 

Where is the fruit punch coming from? There must be a few specific hop varieties that are all the rage right now. I think it’s time to get back to my roots, go back to the ipas I used to drink before the mosaic boom

 

All have been restocked. Still at least a case of everything Brewing Projekt related, along with Straight Hash Homie! Don't sleep on the Hustle...it's fantastic!

I highly recommend boulevard grand cru. There are a few four packs and singles left at total wine Bloomington.

Am I remembering correctly that somebody said BAY was $13.99 for a 12 at total wine? I passed at $20 today at MGM. Or is there anything a bit cheaper more north?

Haha! Glad you liked it. I think it is my favorite boulevard beer after rye on rye on rye. They are always solid, but this one really stands out.

I had some time to kill in St. Michael today, and checked out Cash Wise Liquor there. If you're desiring Surly Darkness, or BA Darkness, they've got quite a few bottles of each in the coolers. They also had some bottles of 2016 and 2017 Lift Bridge Commander.

 

Scott's Liquor in St. Paul has TG Scorpius -- hit the shelves about an hour ago.

 

Any TG Scorpius sightings in the NW metro?

 

Lunds and Byerly's SLP had some ,but that's not exactly NW. They also had cases of BAY for $18

New Drekker Valhalla Series (a dry hopped farmhouse) and Brain Freeze is also out now at Top 10 SLP

 

If you haven’t yet had The Bruery’s Melange No. 3 you should. Right now it’s $15 a bomber at MGM Plymouth. Normally a $30 bottle. Amazing barrel aged beer.

 

Damn that’s a bargain! Great beer for sure.

 

Anybody seen the new Schell's biergarten in a box? I think I was released last week but I haven't seen it anywhere yet.
