If @FlintB is saying to open, I would say open it. He has a lot of beer to unload from what I have seen recently.

So today I’m minding my own business , when I hear a gigantic thud at the door. What could this be I think to myself.

Apparently, @Mipper had to drop a crushing box on my porch. My back is sore from dragging it into the house and upon opening it, my eyes start bleeding from staring at its full glory for a moment too long.

Truly in shock and awe, about the only thing I can say is Thank You!

Sincerely, Thank you for the opportunity at all these beauties tucked into one ginormous box....

    Here is the damage...

    Mipper,

I can’t believe you crammed all these into one box. Thank you again and cheers!

Who summoned me?? Get off my lawn! It’s good to be reeeeeeeetired again.

Just some well deserved payback for the ridiculous box you sent me.

Just some info for you. The Black Gold is 2015. The Eclipse is 2014 aged in 23 yr Evan Williams Barrels. The Abraxas is 2014 and supposedly drinking really well.

And that Ron Zacappa is the best sipping rum I have had the good fortune to try.

    Enjoy those while I

Oh Michael Vick...how great thou art.

This made me think of another quote from a movie I truly love: "There's somethin' I want to get off my chest. It's about that summer, when you went away to community college. I got an offer to do Playgirl Magazine, and I did it. I did a full spread for Playgirl Magazine. I mean spread, man, I pulled my butt apart and stuff. I was totally nude. It was weird, I... I mean, you probably didn't hear about it 'cause I went under the name of Mike Honcho. But I just wanted you to know that. If you can hear me, if it got into your brain somehow, that I spread my buttcheeks as Mike Honcho."

When I ship a ninja box, I try not to vary too far from the target's name...but I digress.

Mystery solved! My Thai neighbors, who moved in a few months ago, ordered Thai food ingredients from Mississippi (what?!) but the shipper used the wrong address. Of course, since they are new in the hood, I had no clue what their name was until I opened their mailbox to see what the last name was. So I went over and gave them their box and she offered to give us some Thai food next time she cooks. Score!

    Suarez Family: Slow Bustle

Consumed this about 2 weeks ago with the wife. We don't get many saisons here - pretty much just Sofie, so I wanted to open these amazing Suarez brews (and the other saisons) when she was able to enjoy.

This was a real treat, but I admit that I liked it more when I first tried it, and throughout the first glass, than by the end of the bottle.

I don't have anything in particular down for smell - just that fairly standard Saison/farmhouse smell (that, personally always takes me back to Sofie, as it was one of the very first craft beers I ever had, at $5/bottle in Chicago in 2013). Little funk, not much.

Taste was very similar to what I expected from the nose. -Except, a bit tart! Not "this made my mouth pucker" type of tart, but definitely noticeably tart. Given my limited exposure, I don't know how typical this is. I enjoyed it more at the start, but by the end the tartness was a little strong.

My wife was kind of surprised that I kept saying "Wow, this is really nice!" while drinking it. I typically don't say that.

    Nice Carb level.

A very well done beer. Very much enjoyed, very much appreciated, and very thankful for the opportunity. Thanks @cavedave !!!

    Suarez Family - Postscript

Of the beers I have opened from the very generous @cavedave , This has been my favorite. I have limited exposure to Saisons, but I have really enjoyed them. This was world class to me. It was everything I want a Saison to be, but with some magic behind it.

Nothing particular to note on the nose - that typical saison/farmhouse nose with a little funk, but not much.

Taste follows similarly, with a classic saison taste. You get some nice citrus flavors, but nothing fruit-like (if that makes sense). It's the essence of citrus, but it's not citrus. It was a little dry, but not too dry. Not as dry as a brut champagne, which I am grateful for. The perfect amount. An amazing level of depth for just being a brewed saison. I would have thought for sure that this was barrel aged in white wine or champagne barrels, but I could find nothing indicating this.

    Nice Carb level.

Wife really enjoyed this one, and I think enjoyed it a bit more than the slow Bustle.

    Thanks for the opportunity!

Suarez is freaking fantastic stuff. I am a huge fanboy of their and it has quickly become one of my favorite breweries. I blame @ColdOne for introducing me and @Mikexw for satisfying my needs!

    It’s all their fault.

I may have sent a little ninja box to an “assassin’s” house, said box will land Saturday.

It is my belief that said “assassin” will be spending that day with the dark lord. At least he will have some beer to open when he gets home.
