*Sips coffee from couch at home after waking up at 7:45. Glad my ice fishing shanty was in the shop and I wasn't dedicated enough to want this.

Was at the back of the line and the guy had one more left. I didn’t see it handed out, but I assume it was because they’re no longer at the back of the line.

 

Legend has it the last band always goes to the raccoon.

 

Some guy hired a family of 5 mules to get bottles for him, they are standing behind me in line.

 

Yep lots of people milling here today. Seen a guy give some of his mules money for the bottle and said he’d pay them when they got the bottle to him.

 

Yea there are a group of people in front of me drinking Coronas...

You should bust him out and ask if he is paying them $500 a bottle

Haha...the guy behind me was like "You do 3 for $5?" "No! Ok let me know when they're 4 for $5."

 

We'll run event by the More guys...prefer online, but this was simple enough

 

They did very well and got a lot of support from the city. I love the fact that they get the line moving as soon as all the wristbands are gone. Noticeably not many people using the trail this morning that weren't there for More. Also, I hope they get those Port-A-Johns serviced before tomorrow or there will be some stories to tell. Not Tim Horton type stories, but still, stories.

I like the idea of line up and wait during the good weather months and tickets during the cold weather months. There's no need to make people suffer or possibly worse. It's not such a big worry during the warmer months since we seem to be pretty good at staying hydrated.
