I don't prefer the lineup method, but I see no reason to let weather be an impediment to it. It seems to work fine for Half Acre (Benthic) and Goose Island (BCBS), among others.

People have waited in some serious snow storms for 12+ hours at 4 Elf. Granted the share is awesome which surely helps. Either way, fuck the line-up method. I'm done doing overnights at Binny's LP after how awful they fucked people last year.

thanks @croush - I just went into a momentary blind rage thinking of the 1 POS for the Half Acre releases and the 2 1/2 hours they take to move 300 people through the line.

    I’m mad?

    DM from our “chill” pal:
“Come find me at the next release you little piece of shit.

    ratwheels, Today at 8:39 AM”

I guess that’s what happens when you just let everyone know you can’t read and have no logical response to the rational arguments for a lotto or online tickets. Stay Classy Shitlord!

I'm just going to live by the code from now on. Life just seems simpler this way.

Is it mOre lucrative for them to burn thru the barrel(s) of the henna during release day... or to allocate pours like they did to lottery winners?

I would think day of tapping patrons order just henna pours then bounce, prob too much of a shit show to get food. Where the lottery system, maybe people are more likely to get food order other beers etc? Just speculation.

The line release got them some insane free advertising, can't put a price on that. You know it's big when you're non beer friends are texting you if you're at the release.

Getting it all in 1 weekend is much more lucrative. They can reinvest the $$ quicker, plus most of the crowd cleared out before normal business hours started.

Because of the lineup additions (Frooted, Triple IPA) and the release time around lunch there weren’t a whole lot of Henna and bounce patrons.

Saw a sale offer of all three BA Hennas plus glass for a ridiculous amount of money yesterday. Which is par for the course. The part that made me laugh was that it included a "sticker pack." Literally all three stickers MoRE was giving away on Sunday at the merch desk!:stuck_out_tongue::grin::stuck_out_tongue::rolling_eyes:

Plus a lot of the crowd waited and got food and pours. They made a fortune on lunch service alone, when they'd normally be only mildly busy.

Yeah, but one suggestion was to have people in and out just for the pours of the Henna; which I'd venture they'd never do because of the ancillary sales you mention which have to be significant.

Yeah saw this as well, $1000 is absolutely bonkers.

Not to mention single bottles selling in the $300 range. So dumb.

FS: Henna BA set with glass, sticker pack, coaster set I swiped from the bar and menu (complete with backing board!) that found its way into my wife's purse. $1100

Yep. My wife has way too much dignity/smarts to wait in line with me for 100ml of beer per hour.

That's why we all feel so at home here and at beer releases...nobody around with a lot of dignity or smarts!

Mine too. She slept on the couch Sunday night.

Edit: in case she ever decides to read beeradvocate, that's not true. She made me sleep on the couch Sunday night, actually...

Sorry for the rookie question, but where do I find an updated MoRe taplist? The "ON TAP" tab on their site is blank and the BeerMenus page was last updated in August, 2017.
