    Lunch beer - Davidson Brothers Brewpub’s “Maibock”, at the brewpub:



    Sweet malt nose. Lightly toasted sweet bread, lite DMS, lite floral hop finish, slightly phenolic; linger is roasted sweet corn...a little sweet for me, but ok.

    Another 10 oz pour before the wife finds me and we go to the art museum...Davidsons’ “IPA Original Recipe”:



    Listed as a traditional British IPA it drinks like an ESB, lite body, not bitter, earthy dry hops...@JoePasko would like this IPA. Cheers gang!

    The one you're drinking, for me. Followed closely by St. Bernardus. For North American, I've always had a special place in my heart for Unibroue, La Fin Du Monde.
