Toppling Goliath coming to MA?

I gave up on One Stop - NONE of their beer is labeled for price & Im not playing the guessing game (their prices are high anyway).Try Downtown Wine & Spirits (Haverhill), they usually seem to have it as well. I’m sure Redstone in Andover gets it on the regular too.

 

Have King Sue 4-Packs been spotted in these parts?

Thoughts on the DDH Pseudo Sue?

 

I love this. Psuedo Sue is almost always available at either Lincoln Liquors, Olde Bedford Package Store or Wegmans (in Burlington). Bombers of pretty much everything are almost always available at Lincoln Liquors. Prices of 4-packs are reasonable (bombers, LOL, no).

I loved Supa Sumo, I loved Pompeii, I loved King Sue... just fabulous beers that are more or less easily gettable and more or less OK on the wallet (aside from bombers... so... take that for what you will).

No complaints other than bomber prices. As I haven't had time to go out to TH or even make the god-awful drive in god-awful traffic down to Canton lately, I truly appreciate TG's entry into the state.

Edit: Didn't like Golden Nugget, but they can't all be winners.

 

DDH(Citra) Psuedo is very good. Honestly Scorpius and Galaxy dh Pseudo are also very good and recently should have dropped

 

golden nugget is the winner for me but already starting to see some "old" cases linger (like mid march).

Just bought some May packaged Psuedo, though they had some April ones as well. Seems to be moving OK. Tastes great.

 

Picked up a 4-pack of Pompeii ($9.99) and a 4-pack of PseudoSue ($10.99) at Natick Total Wine a couple days ago. Brewed on dates printed on the 4-pack cardboard... late April and early May.

IMO, there is no better value for juicy, high-quality IPAs right now than this.

I thoroughly enjoyed both beers.

 

I have written a strongly worded email to Atlas Liquors, who, 3 weeks ago, declared that 4pks of King Sue would be arriving in 2 weeks.

Bah humbug.

tried ddh psuedo last night. Prob my least favorite offering thus far.

 

Saw bombers of FSM, at Northborough Wegmans similar pricing to other TG bombers. Didn't pick it up as I already have too much beer in the fridge.

 

I haven't tried DDH Sue or Golden Nugget, but boy have I enjoyed buying Sue at $10.99/4 pack. Crazy to walk into a liquor store and see Sue, Sip and Jai Alai just sittin in the cooler. Also, KBS and BCBS are collecting dust at my local liquor store, what a time to be a live haha

 

Any recommendations for where to pick up some fresh TG at a reasonable price in the Ayer area? Just moved to Ayer last week and don't have a local store yet. Saw pseudo sue cans at Idylwilde Farm in Acton the other day, but at $14.99 and a 5/1 date, I decided to pass. Also, do the bombers have dates? Didn't notice one on the galaxy dh sue I saw, so again I passed.

will the King Sure be available in MA stores by the end of June or is it just getting to the distributors by then?

 

90% of the bombers have dates but often you have to look hard in the right light to find it. Usually right above the label. Seems like it gets rubbed off rather easily.
