It's the beer gods way of telling us to stop chasing.

 

Very excited. This is my first TG event. Got a ticket for myself and my lady.

 

I'm interested in what the quantities are this time. Way more of my friends were able to grab tickets than normal. Way more than any past TG event at least. Looks like 80-90% of us got tickets and many wives too.

Much better than any lottery IMO. I am still 0% on lotteries and 100% on online tickets.

 

How many 2-ticket purchases were successfully made, exactly?

 

I have a group of about 8 or 9 beer guys I texted and only 1 person didn't get tickets, but their internet was awful. Everyone got 2 tickets, either a friend or their wife.

 

Then I am certainly interested in volume compared to last year as well.

 

I think that technically, once you were in queue, it was a lottery system that determined who got tickets and who got kicked out of queue.

 

I have 135mb internet, was ready at start. Sat there for 2 hours with no luck. At one point I was entering captcha back to back for over 20 minutes with it just telling me that my request had expired after each one.

Honestly believe internet has nothing to do with it.

I have never "won" a concert ticket this way though. Across like the last 7 years of seriously trying for 2-10 events each year.

 

You guys give up too easily. Almost 4 hours later and my queue bar is still going strong. I can't refresh or I will lose my place. Victory will taste so sweet.

 

I emailed the brewery from their website and was able to get my guest's ticket updated. They were cool and responsive about the issue, so I'd reach out just to be sure.

 

I emailed etix but guess I will try TG as well just to make sure. Need to check from a laptop first since I was viewing everything on my phone

 

I found when I opened the tickets on my desktop computer to print it had my guests name on the 2nd ticket.

A non-issue. I like how BA responded and wonderingly types if any rules are broken to let them know. What rules could possibly be broken, pre-trades have been around since the dawn of...beer trading.

 

I've reached a point in my pessimism toward the human race that I follow threads for big releases I'm not even going to like this and Dark Lord because it's just Grade A popcorn reading. The butthurt reaches a new low with every major bottle drop and I can never tear myself away from the schadenfreud of watching a grown man slam his own hat down into a mud puddle and stomp on it while crying.

 

First timer heading out to TG and attending MD August 25th...only purchased 1 ticket today.....however I have a friend who wants to go. Bringing someone else who doesn't have a ticket still is a worthwhile venture to me due to the experience, tap list, etc and pulpit rock. For the session, which I have #3, does TG only let in people with tickets I assume or would my friend or who ever be able to enter? Or is it ticket only until all sessions are complete then they open to general public? Thanks for any info/feedback. Cheers all.
