Milkshake or pale? Had my last milkshake over the weekend and thought the creamsicle taste faded a bit.

nice shout dude. milkshake. the orange is more prevalent than ever for me. melds so god damn nicely with the vanilla cream. mouthfeel seems to have gained a notch or two as well.

Next on the docket from our boys at HB will be a couple new ones. Vacation Mode which will be a witbier, Lemony Fresh looks like it might actually drop and the return of Telehopic. Excited for that one as it was excellent last time around.

There's a decent amount of Tavern Cut and Skrap at Binny's Grand, if anyone is still looking (like I was).

Hmm...Brickstone's new NE beer is there as well (I've heard things, so that or Stone's new NE beer, which I didn't see out, were going to be my fallback); they were just receiving stuff, so I'd assume there's more incoming. Plenty of PsuedoSue for $7.99 as well, although I'm not sure of the freshness date.

Quite frankly, how can anyone care about freshness at that price point. 64 oz of 2 year old stale Sue for the price of one draft of a brewpub NEIPA? Yes please.

I wouldn't pay $8 for a case of the first batches that hit Chicago, so I'm a little traumatized (although yes, I know they're not brewed in the same place).

I'm digging that HB has seemingly upped production somewhat; double-drops of their beer is an awesome change.

I'd like to see them get their price point down a few bucks. Hopefully with Roger at Maplewood we get some worthy competition of new NEIPAs in quality at a better price point.

$15 is pretty standard at the moment though, isn't it? All Half Acre IPA one-offs hit at around here, and most of the NE stuff we're seeing is at that point. I'd love cheaper options, too, but I'm just not sure how viable that is for the moment.
Yeah, I'm very curious. I like Brickstone's stuff, and they fly under the radar, so this one might be an easy-to-get go-to.

Grabbed a 4 pack of each Tavern and Skrap. Also grabbed a sixer of Brickstone's Haz'd Juice (canned 7/6 btw). Looking like a good weekend!! I appreciate the tips and reviews!!

that's great to see, appreciate the head sup.

after having had a 4 of each, i actually enjoy skrap a bit more, so i'll have to grab another.

Skrap has to be substantially warmer that Tavern at serving to get rid of all the boozy alcohol flavors....

Having one of my last ones right now. Getting tons of vanilla. Wish I would've saved an entire 4 pack instead of just 2 cans.

Really digging Telehopic. Big pineapple with a little piney-ness. Similar mouthfeel to the last few hazys.

Hell ya the post I've been waiting for.

I had a crush on the Hop Butcher for a couple years but after the last round, i'm head over heels in love.

Not currently in stock, but HB's site actually has some nice drinking options, and solid pricing:

(I regret that I own none of them because I have a million glasses already, and my wife almost murdered me the last time I brought up buying more)
