I'm not gonna post another picture of a can of Head Topper, but that is what I have in hand right now. Kind of a trade...brought some Allagash to a cookout, a four pack mysteriously appeared in my cooler. Yeah...it's OK and all.

Bitter Friday for us. We have had to endure this all week



Total quiet, and maybe too much time to contemplate. Figured out the riddle of the fish this morning before the little beer-cursion. Let them all go...but caught plenty. Took three days for the spring to unwind, and headed back tomorrow??? So not my favorite Friday...

So now onto this one. A new one, Scofflaw collaborated with a favorite sandwhich bar here in ATL to create this one.

Digging the can art, somehow light bodied, hoppy as hell, tropical fruits are dominant in the flavor profile. Liked this a lot more that I thought I would.

 

New glass for the new place, while I enjoy a new beer.

Shit man I feel for you. I havent been able to go on a vaca for awhile but I know the feeling. Takes time to relax and just when youre relaxed youre going back.

Delicious. Dank and tropical
Not too heavy at 6.2%.

 

I give it a B. Fruit was muddled.
Having said that, I drank it ridiculously fast.

Revisiting the Solid Gold. Had it for the first time a couple weeks ago straight out of the can. Expected a mellow and balanced lager, but instead got a hops smack to the face. Coming back to it now knowing what to expect (and also pouring into a glass), it's a much more enjoyable experience. Still not my favorite, but very drinkable.

 

#2, I am loving this big time.
