    @tasterschoice62 - Now mind you, I could be WAAAYYYY buzzed here, but isn't that a Great Blue Heron rather than an egret? Or is that some local term given to the GBH up there? Nice fish, by the way. Looks like a great day. :astonished: *hiccup* CHeers!

    St Louis to Oklahoma City today. I spent a year in OKC 40 years ago, finishing my fellowship. I had a really shitty year back then. Good thing I'm only spending a night here, otherwise those bad vibes would show up again.
    We went to Twin Peaks and I had a COOP F5 IPA.

    My wife would never go to Twin Peaks with me. Not that there is anything fantastic about that place. Sometimes the "peaks" are scenic.

    Cracked open this fellow tonight. Though they're local, I'm anything but a fanboy and I tend to agree with @Sabtos that most of their stuff is overrated. This bottle however has been a pleasant outlier IMO.

    And yes this is a Heron - I stand corrected. For some reason I just had Egret in my head. Thanks @eppCOS!

    @tasterschoice62 - sorry...I only turn into an academic on BA after 5 beers. Couldn't help it. I struggled for years with bird ID stuff. And i remember getting yelled at by one of my ornithology buds on the distinction between the egrets and the herons. I'm obviously still haunted to this day. :wink:
