Plus if they do end up dropping some dumb silent and it turns into a shitshow you have the option to bail out instead standing in a roasting parking lot for two hours inhaling haze bro sweat for two cans of a beer that is exactly like all their other beers.

That was a very constructive, helpful post.

It all depends on what the can releases are and it depends on what you want out of the trip. If you just want cans then I would wait until later, 6ish, and keep your eye on the can wait list on Facebook or Twitter. If you want pours and cans, then definitely the 2-3ish time is better, but, it depends on the releases. If there isn't anything nuts Today and Tomorrow, then you wait for the initial rush and hope the line stays chill and they open up pours.

@Macsimus thanks. Will look into that before or after th today. What's a solid arrival time today for Julius? Can one even arrive early (ie gates closed/ open right at 4).

    Thanks.

Many people arrive early in anticipation of a silent. If Julius is the only new offering today, the line will be pretty mellow. I would anticipate this being the case since they guarantee pours on Tuesdays.

The only possible silent I can see happening today would be the leftover Doubleganger from Saturday which has mysteriously vanished from the on-tap page.

And here we see oldbean's descent into jaded bitterness continue...

I had the pleasure of visiting tree house about 10 days ago on a cross country drive. I bought five cases (Julius, doppelgänger, lights on and green). What an amazing facility!!!

I also hit alchemists and hill farmstead but Tree House takes it to a whole new level. Amazing customer friendly location and terrific beer.

They had an event on grounds on Sunday. Have to assume Doubleganger went by the board then (or as you said is in such small quantities that they aren't posting it).

You are definitely a grouch but gotta agree with you on this one.

No one makes better beer than Hill Farmstead. I'm as big a Tree House fanboy as they come but I will fight anyone who says otherwise.

Also visiting HF is pretty much the ultimate beer experience.

1 can of Doubleganger. Not on the order card so there can't be many left.

I am digging the exploration of hops via the Bright vessel. I wonder if anything else changes in the variants. In this one they explicitly say American Ale yeast. @DigitalNate is that the same across all of them?

Also, Haze with Peach and Green with Pineapple on draft. They both sound delicious

Bright with Simcoe and Amarillo is one of their older variations, one of my favorites as well.

Pretty easy drive in (took a left in. No line yet) acquisition. But it's hard to gauge since I've never been. Arrived about 430. Can line out to first set of cars in first parking lot pretty constantly since 6. Pour line died down around 5:45pm. Can line took about half hour from that first set of cars.

Six different beers to go. Green with pineapple first to go on draft. Seemed busy but manageable.

Again, no context. Beers are worth the trouble if today was any trouble . Julius just blowing out as far as palate sales come and go it seems. Alter ego second.

Thanks fellow ba members who responded to my questions.

Think you hit a really good day at the optimal time. No crazy drop but plenty of variety and a few "special" pours. Either brilliance or luck on your behalf. Enjoy just the same.
