has anyone seen the new haze cans in wicker park yet?

 

Love Beast Mode. But I have loved all of the Pipeworks haze going back to Stay Gold.

 

Yeah, that's usually the case. Binny's are pretty spotty with pdubs delivery days. Guess I'll have to go every day or check Warehouse or Printers Row

SHBM out at Binny's Grand, they still have Brewnnicornski as of 20 minutes ago

 

GTMW is the one fest that all the actual brewers typically go to (instead of just sending their lackeys). So maybe they are bringing their entire team, since there are typically tons of separate events outside of just the fest.

 

I spoke with someone at Pipeworks, and they said they treat GTMW like a celebration/vacation for the whole crew, so that is why they aren't open.

 

That’s kind of what I was thinking also. I assumed all the employees were going not because of staffing with events, but because all of the employees want to attend the Great Taste.

 

Anyone know of any shops near Jeff Park with Supremium still? No Fischman or Binnys.

 

Nevermind, all good. Binny's Portage Park has it for those interested. Clerk must have missed it when I called earlier.

 

supremium was a real treat. wish i was able to snag more than one 4-pack, probably one of the best beers ive had this year.

 

man, I held off on buying some because I read that some people thought it was on the more bitter side of the style...

 

I think it was excellent as well. Looks like it'll be available at the Dojo this week which hopefully means out for distro again.

 

it definitely leans more bitter, but that's generally what I expect from PW.

a notch below King of Borgs / Velocity of Light, but it's worth picking up if you see it again

 

I found the bitterness faded out on KoB about three weeks after canning.

 

BA Murderous (reg, brandy, port) and BA Last Kiss FWB email arrived today! Pickup for FWB starts this Friday. No mention of when general public sale begins. Guessing it will be on social media blast given their change in release philosophy.
