Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates (2018)

yeahhhhh. I want to go and try it, but at 16 bucks for a 9oz pour it makes me cringe.

 

I don't think their philospphi has really changed. They didn't initially announce the BA bottles but after some of them sat around for literally 2-3 months they made it public that they had them.

Have they announced BA releases prior to them being available yet, FWB not withstanding

 

This is my understanding as well. I hope it's not just wishful thinking.

 

I can't recall...Is there usually a time gap between FWB release and public? Or do they open some up for public sale at the same time?

 

I believe the new philosophy is that they are going to announce them in their weekly email blast as they do with other releases, but aren’t going to promote on Twitter/ social media unless they sit.

 

i believe in the past, FwB sales started when the dojo opened on thursday and public sales started saturday, but given they are sort of changing things up, that may have changed.

 

If only @NOTpipeworks could confirm.....

Usually the newsletter comes out today (sometimes Friday), so possibly we could get confirmation later in the day.

 

Just got the newsletter. Rohrwerker and Sea Cucumbo Gose are being released 8/17. No other beers mentioned in this week's newsletter.

 

does anyone know how long pipeworks dojo releases typically last? specially the rohrwerker? releases tomorrow and i am getting into town saturday afternoon. would it still be around? never been there and wasn’t sure if they put limits on BA releases like that or not. cheers and thanks!

didn’t think it was an instant sellout but figured i would check. i see it’s actually blended BW where some of the blend is year-old BA’d and some is fresh. interesting.

 

The tight limits ensure almost nothing can instantly sell out.

Yes, but what happened after you put said treasureliquid into your mouth?!?! Were they all amazing? The last BA murderous I had was exceptional. I’m pumped. Now, someone help me think of a reason to run an errand out to the dojo part of town...
