$25 for 5 Oz pours (mini snifter included) of Assassin or Morning Delight at Rubaiyat last night was...certainly something.

Used the shuttle today and I wouldn’t do it again. $10 per person both ways so we spent $40 on round trip transport.

Ran out where? I went to the taproom counter and bought whatever I wanted to go including SOSUS bottles. No way they "ran out".

Even in Group 1 there was only 2 Term Oil variants available. 18A and the Coffee one. I suppose they were adding others as those ran out later on.

Nothing to complain about though, the party started at 8am for anyone. You didn't have to wait until group 4 to show up and hang out on the patio!

Shouldve clarified they ran out of king sue cans and sosus bottles when i was in line, didn't really feel like waiting in line again later. Overall a great event though, tough to complain with that much mornin delight flowin I suppose!

Uhhh so how long before we discuss some of the short comings of the md release? Term oil, king sue, beach Pompeii all out before last session?

Absolutely nothing worth sticking around for, and pulpit had better offerings all day. I can’t be alone in being completely underwhelmed by what TG put out today?

Release was for Mornin Delight and they put out a metric sh1t t0n of it. I was taken aback in the 1st session how many people there were there. Just that session alone was more than the entire 1st and 2nd batches combined I think. Plus SO MUCH Mornin Delight flowing on tap.....

MD lived up to hype for me. The nose on it was unreal. Great time and great event. Met some fantastic people today too.

I thought Mornin' Light release was a pretty fun event. Plenty of it on draft throughout the day was great. Also got to try the Term Oils 18-A, Kopi Luwak and Andy's Mint. 18-A was my favorite of those 3 (I just really like TG's straight up barrel-aged imperial stouts. I feel adjuncts take away something from an already awesome base). Plenty of tables and chairs made it easy to find a spot to sit. Tacos hit the spot for food without making you feel stuffed. Just overall fun.

The one complaint I have is that the lines for Mornin' Delight and Term Oils moved a bit slow, and seemed like they stopped moving as you got closer. I don't know if the fix for this would have been more points of purchase, dedicated people just for filling pours, or making it cash only event. But the day was nice and sunny so it wasn't the worst thing.

And this Mornin' Delight batch is great. I wasn't as impressed last year but everything about it this year is wonderful: coffee, maple, chocolate, even vanilla flavors. Thicker, fudgier than last year also. Happy to have bottles of it at home.
