Just left. According to the guy getting the bottles, maybe "ten minutes" left for brandy Murderous and the last case and a half of BA Coffee Break Abduction.

They are now out of Brandy Murderous - it is for FWB only. They said they'll release any remainder in a few weeks

Ah ok, I missed that. In fairness they had them as basically a silent last Saturday, and the rare variants lasted that Saturday, Thursday, Friday and into part of today. They couldn’t have made too much of the port / brandy and it seems like coffee break abduction lasted forever

Yeah, true, can’t really complain if they’re silently released a week or so before the public announcement. Guess I got spoiled.

Another smooth trip to the Dojo today, missed out on a bottle of brandy barrel but still got to try a sample. One of my pdubs merch regrets is not getting a ninja teku a few years back, so I pulled the trigger on the new one. My wife actually rolled her eyes at me coming home with a new glass & not having 11 BA bombers with me....

Oktoberfest is tasting good & going down smooth, I think I’ll need to grab another 4 pack when they hit distro. Last Kiss is the star of this weeks release, grabbed 3 bottles & they said they were running low when I was there around 2

We really are spoiled with these low stress ba releases

I think things will be different when the brewpub opens (and that’s assuming they’ll sell bottles there). I just think the Dojo is off the radar of the crazed local scene due to location and limited hours. Good for us though!

So you’re saying we should sabotage the brewpub? On it.

Supposedly they scores some Tawny barrels for the next round of something delicious.

Purely speculation (but based on my experience with BA beers) I suspect their beers are "hotter" due to the fact that many of them spend 18 months in a barrel rather than the 9 - 12 months that seems to be the average for most brewers.

In addition - on their Instagram story, you could see all the BA murderous bottles sitting on the counter when they did the picture of the coolers. Not really an announcement but for anyone paying close attention it was there.

I can't fathom how As You Wish has stayed available for so long. I'll chalk it up to the barrel-aged beer having a different name than the base, so it doesn't have BA in the name. But damn, that is a super-delicious porter.

Agree that is one of my favorite beers and I would buy one each time I was there (a little less than once a month) until the last visit when I was like - I don’t need a 4th one

The Oktoberfest is pretty solid. But I think the malt profile is a tad off - it's a bit too toasty with heavier on the caramel than expected. The can artwork is fantastic, though!

I really enjoyed the Oktoberfest can I opened this weekend...it may just be my palate yearning for something other than haze but I thought it was a great example of the style.

Surprised they already posted about Murderous and variants on social. Looks like I have to run over there on Friday to finally pick those up before they're gone.
