Heater Allen makes some damn legit lagers too, definitely seek them out if you're in Oregon

I will second that! Drank a bunch of Heater Pils and Kolsch this summer, incredibly well made beer. I’ve reached out to Lisa a few times and she has always been incredibly nice. Two great breweries for sure.

Craft beer and brewing podcast with Dan was awesome if anyone didn't know about it just wanted to throw it out there.

Do they have a regular or semi-regular release scheduled for cans and bottles? I will be passing through on Friday around open for a few pours, but will likely grab a few things to go as well.

They have an up to date list on their site of what’s on draft and what’s for sale to go. Definitely check that out and it’ll more than likely be correct.

    "...buy whatever they're selling..."

Truly couldn't have said it better myself @rozzom! Came back to NC after last month's trip to see the gf's family in Hudson with three four packs of palatine pils and a box full of bottles and honestly it just wasn't enough, haha! As crazy as that sounds, that is legit how I feel at this very moment. I enjoy a hazy ipa as much as the next guy and gal (drinking a Grimm Gravity of Smile as I type in this thread, how wrong is that?!), but these simple, pure, crispy, clean beers are such a breath of fresh air.

I have felt the same way after returning from Suarez with what I thought was way too much beer... always buy more!

And this lovely little beer garden to enjoy the lovely September weather

In all honesty, if she won't go to Suarez, you need to re-think this engagement thing.

DAMN those are some nice pretzels......and I love across the river from Philly so we have access to some good pretzels.

Any pointers for a first timer? I see there might be some cans of Quality Pilsner left according to their website. Fingers crossed it lasts until Saturday (presuming it's not already gone)

LOL, she's down to go; I was half-joking with the "pray for me" business. Probably do some hiking beforehand. I have no idea what I'm getting myself into, we've only been to Upstate once (back in 2009.....we took a trip to Ommegang. was fun)

Chill out and relax. It is a wonderful place to be. Bring something to eat with you.
Drink your way through what is on tap and have a couple of pretzels.
If there is anything available to go, get it. Bring a couple of empty growlers. Just enjoy your time there.
