Had my first one last night as well, and I quite enjoyed it. I'll probably take the rest of the 4 pack to the beach this weekend.

Also, for all the hype about BA Murderous and friends... don't sleep on Rohrwerker. I'm drinking one now and, having had bottles of the most recent BA Murderous and Rohrwerker both, I just might prefer the latter. I previously edited my review of the original Rohrwerker batch (released around March 2016) to note that I felt it was much improved after 1.5 years of ageing, but this new batch is just as smooth, fresh, as the original was, aged. It's not cloyingly sweet, but very English with the burnt sugar character of a creme brulee. My previous review likened it to a fresh, hot MoAS, and I still get the comparison, but this batch is a little more its own.

On second thought, sleep on Rohrwerker. I want to pick up a few more bottles the next time I'm in Chicago.

I can live with how they did it this time around. The goal is to sell the beer, after all. Some of the previous releases hung around for a long time.

    Week 1: FWB email
    Week 2: weekly email
    Week 3: Facebook, Twitter, etc.

It sure beats the days of spreading it out one case at a time to only the best accounts.

Can someone advise on what ba offerings are avail be at the dojo when they open? I went through my emails to see f I could find a recent newsletter with the ba bottles but must have deleted it.

I know brandy murderous is gone, but wanted to post a trade for reg murderous and didn’t want to throw a pw bottle up that is still available at the dojo.

Did the Oktoberfest or the oaked IPA make it out for distro, or are they limited/Dojo-exclusives? Went to my Binny's yesterday and they didn't have either one but they had Crimson Snapper.

The Binny's website lists the Oktoberfest so it's quite likely at least some Binny's will get it. Perhaps call around.

I really hope they keep the way they release their BA beers; lets the big PW fans get it, no lines, no fuss. Even double dip sometimes. Hoping they keep releases at the dojo

Premium Pilsner has been the winner for me over the past month or so. Nice change of pace from all the hazy brews.

Drank my bottle of Brandy not too long after buying it...hotter than July in Arizona.

Holding off on my Port for 6 months minimum based on the Brandy.

Anyone who still has a Brandy, I highly recommend not popping for awhile, unless you guzzle rubbing alcohol for kicks.*

*this is blatant hyperbole; the beer was pretty good but I think some oxidation would help it.

I think the brandy variant is phenomenal, but I also like big, boozy hot messes. (See my previous rants and reviews in favor of Clown Shoes for evidence.) I'm going to be really torn about when to drink mine.

I’m not a scientist, but based off of my sample pour of brandy murderous, I think sweater weather on a porch or the first “oh geez it is cold” day in Chicago, in front of a fire, would be ideal.

Its getting there ... tonight was a hint of things to come. I sat and drank a pils next to a nice fire and it was glorious - not gonna lie I was sitting there thinking about how much I'm looking forward to doing that with some BA stouts.

the fact my trader joes had cases of infinite galaxy, oktoberfest and black rasberry creamsicle the day of distro makes me so damn happy.
