Too lazy to take a pic, but I grabbed a 32 oz of Pivo Pils for watching the NFL channel tonight. How better to spend $5 on beer? Actually this is my first Pivo, we don't get that beer here that I've seen, in bottles at least.

Five beers and an oversized plate of homemade barbecue. This old man cannot consume more. So on to wine. I would prefer bourbon but @scream would bust my balls.

Anyway, I got no business on WBAYDN anymore tonight. Namaste my friends.

To heck with a fine pilsner this evening, I'm going for an outstanding Belgian dark farmhouse ale...

This is an extremely smooth and velvety dark ale, full of fruity notes of plums and raisins and delivering a fine dark malt and cocoa malt base. I'm not sure of the vintage but the label indicates an ABV of 10.0%. There is little boozy presence in this beer. One of my latest "wow" beers...

Made it to Riverton, Wyoming and having Snake River Brewing “Pako’s” IPA. Smells light but tastes the best of my recent local IPA’s from Nebraska S. Dakota and Montana.

    Off to the reviews.

Very nice American brown ale. Nice head retention/lacing on the glass. Flavors of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of salt, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark fruit, herbal/grassy/peppery hops and yeast earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light-moderate pine, herbal, grassy, peppery hop; and lightly roasted bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and light chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, minimal hop astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 7.2%. Spot on style, not as sweet as expected initially. Great well rounded malt complexity with balanced salted caramel candy flavors; and nice earthy hop balance against sweetness. 3.88

Fantastic wild saison! Great head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tart/tangy limes, lemon, citrus zest, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, red/green apple, guava, gooseberry, white wine, oak, gin, juniper berry, spruce, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, floral, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread malts; lighter notes leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Touch of oaken vanilla as it warms. Light-moderate peppery yeast/gin/oak spiciness; herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and light Brett/lime tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops; some fruit tang/acidity and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/spicy/acidic dryness; no pucker/astringency. Very drinkable, minimal warming 6.7%. Another easy winner. Amazingly well balanced vibrant limes, Brett/Saison yeast, Citra hops, and Gin barrels; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. Gin barrels work so well with saisons. 4.25

More Pako’s this time on draft. The keg needed changing when I showed up. This would be the first draw off the keg. Cheers my friends! A bit fresher.

Work blew today, just couldn't get traction on about half the stuff I started today. Tommorrow is another today. I'm sure my co-workers thought I was some sorta freak using an an umbrella on a sunny day. Had to, just even a 10 second exposure made my skin burn like I was some damn vampire. tropical storm will take care tomorrow's sun issues i reckon
