I'm so fucked up off the caffeine in BA hyperdog. I would have never opened it at midnight if I knew there was coffee in it. I dont drink coffee or use caffeine. I feel like I'm on adderall and its past 3am.

 

I mean, it does have draft options. Just with little, teeny, tiny cups.

I feel for you. I drink vast amounts of coffee on a daily basis, but I actually drank hyper dog as a nightcap a year or so ago and woke up with heart palpitations, unable to sleep from 3-4. They say coffee. I think it’s cocaine. Whatever it is, it is delicious.

 

Uber Pool or Lyft Line would probably be less than $15 round trip.

 

Last question... they’re open thurs-sat, should I shoot for a certain day for release/selection purposes? Thanks all for the help so far.

 

It’s always kind of a mystery. They typically have weekly releases of non-BA beers on Friday, and these are announced on their newsletter (this Friday is velocity of light and some others). The BA stuff appears mysteriously, and frequently is available not at the times people think they will be released (eg - show up on thursdays when people were told Friday or Saturday.)

Edit - there is occasionally a rush right at open that leads to a short wait.

I thought Infinite Galaxy was solid and I am glad I got a 4 pack (hard to rate as my palate is affected by allergies/cold). I think Scorched Tundra X is ok but Blackberry Dreamsicle was a complete miss. Glad I got singles of the latter two. Excited to try Velocity of Light when it goes out

 

VoL is amazing but tons of bitterness like all PW hazy beers. Great mouthfeel, lots of carb. If this was a regular offering from PW I'd buy it all the time.

 

I love bitterness in hazy beers so I hope I can grab some.

jesus, that new batch of Velocity of Light is unreal. One of my favorites of the style out of this region. Just grabbed one four pack and I need to get another four pack.
